Thank you for giving me this opportunity.Today, my presentation will be divided into 5 parts.Part one is the analysis of the teaching material and the students.My teaching task is to deal with the grammar item Non-finite Verbs andn My students are from Grade2, the senior high middle school . This is not the first time for the students to learn this grammar. Some of them may have already mastered this grammar. But students are quite different with each other. So I will try my best to make sure all the students from different levels can participate in the activities. Part two is my teaching aimThe students should master the structure and usage of the non-finite verbs.They should understand how to apply those rules in real situation and then participate in activities to describe a film or story using this grammar.Part three is the teaching method My teaching today will be based on the second language acquisition and the students cognitive level.So I will use The guided discovery method The students are presented with authentic English texts.Then I will induce the students to discover the underlying grammar rule from the context.At last, I will give the explicit explaining of grammar rules.My teaching today will be based on the second language acquisition theories and the students cognitive level. My class will be divided into 3 steps: preparation, presentation, practice, production.Part four is the teaching key and difficult points.How to let my students discover the grammar rules in a positive and interactive way, not just by receiving what I tell them directly.Part five is the teaching procedures:Step one: presentationFirst, they should totally understand the passage of this unit. And then, they themselves begin to generalize the grammar rules by comparing and analyzing the 5 sentences in Activity One on P24. Then I will explain the grammar rules specifically in Chinese.During this process, the students can master the language better.Step two: practice Mechanical practice: substitution & transformationStep three: productionI will set up some activities from different situations on the basis of students life experiences and interests. Let the newly learned structures be used during the process of communication. After all these steps, I believe my students can make full use of this grammar item and produce effective English output.Thus, all the students can do something, speak something, and learn something in my class.专心-专注-专业
