Encourage discussion of any particularly interesting or unexpected views.Part B1) Allow Ss a few minutes working indivdually to decide which practices they find unacceptable. Check Ss understand that subliminal advertising involves images that are flashed onto a screen so briefly that they are note only by the subconscious mind.2) Working with the whole class elicit indivdual views, collate responses on the board as a class survey. Explore the reasons for any consensus that emerges on any of the points listed or additional suggestions. Choose one example for each category and write them on the board under the relevant heading.
