Greet the class. 2. Oral communications. T: Hello/ Hi. How are you? S1: Im fine. Thank you. T: Whats your name? S1: My names . / Im . T: This is S2. S1: Nice to meet you. S2: Nice to meet you, too. T: Lets play/go to school/make a puppet！ S1 & S2: OK. /Great. / Good idea! (2 minutes for them to practice this conversation in groups of 3 Ss, and ask several groups to offer a performance.)3. Listen and do actions. Touch your nose/ eye/ head .4. Enjoy the Colour song and Head and shoulders, knees and toes from Unit 2 and Unit 3.Step 2 Presentation & Practice1. Point to objects such as items of clothing to elicit the colours. Practice with all the colours theyve learnt. Let individual S comes to the front of the class and point while the class says the colours.2. Play the word games Game one: Word race. Present the word in Unit 1-3 quickly. Have the Ss speak out and try to spell out all the words correctly. Game two: Guess the colour. Have one S come to the front of the class. Put a crayon in his/her hand, but the others cant see the crayon. The others guess the colour of the crayon. If the S guesses the right answer, he/she can take charge of the game. Game three: Make phrases. A. Play commands. Invite Ss to the front of the class to call out the commands theyve known. The rest of the class respond. Include pointing to their own parts of the body.B. Present the key words and ask the questions Whats this? / What are they? / What colour is it? Elicit the answers.C. Lead the Ss to describe the pictures like this ruler-blue ruler- a blue ruler- I have a blue ruler.3. Listen and colour. A. Present the picture. Say something about Halloween. B. Listen and colour. C. Listen again and check the answers.4. Look and tick. Draw the childrens attention to the pictures. Have the Ss describe the pictures like this a yellow hand, orange arms.5. I can say. A. Ask the question What do you see in the picture? Encourage the children to respond by using I see blue arms.B. Ss work in pairs, pointing to the picture and describing it.C.
