Four short words sum up what has lifted most successful individuals above the crowd: a little bit more.-author-date这个杀手不太冷英语影评这个杀手不太冷英语影评Leon - The ProfessionalI always love to appreciate the movies that people have thought great and classic. My Friends have told me several times that Leon - The Professional is their best. When I watched it myself, I ultimately understood my friends feeling. Firstly I must declare that I was infected by my dear friend, he loves Luc Besson because of his wonderful movies directed by him. Such as Wasabi and Arthur and the Invisibles. The story tells us that Natalie Portman plays Mathilda, a 12-year-old girl. She has a misery life. Her father is involved in handling drugs for a crooked cop called Norman Stansfield (acted by Gary Oldman). One day, Mathilda encounters Leon (acted by Jean Reno), professional hitman, the little girl is out shopping for Leon when Stansfield kills the rest of her family, and fortunately she takes shelter in Leon's house, Mathilda begs Leon to teach her his skills. Soon she has wormed her way into every part of his unusual life. Leon does his best to keep her out of trouble, and a father-daughter bond forms between the two of them. Leon however has little experience of being either a father or a friend, and is also unable to prevent Mathilda from pursuing her revenge against Stansfield. When Leon rescued Mathilda at the hazard of his own life, thus the film drew to an end because of his dead. This is a wonderful film. The story, which at first glance is corny and silly, actually becomes gripping and emotional in the hands of the skilled Jean Reno and that little girl. The characters are sympathetic and cute, and one is touched by the depth of the relationship between Leon and Mathilda. The character of their enmy, Norman Stansfield, is scary and insane, every time I saw him in the screen, I always felt hair stands on end. There is real danger and drama throughout the film, yet it never becomes merely an action film - the characters are too significant for that. The relationship between Leon and Natalie is the theme of this film. Every fight is the surroundings of their life story. Besson, as always, both makes the film look beautiful and builds plenty of atmospheres into it. He is clever at directing the figures and the psychology. Nobody can make more success than him, thats why I appreciate him. The deeply impression that the film gave me is Leon and his green plant, because his favorite plant can represent his soul, peaceful and calm. It also represent he loved his life. So when Mathilda entered his world, she took care of it as he loved, The film made a different view that Leon is professional hitman, but not a bad person, however, the cop is a bad egg. These characters made us think more than the theme of this film. This film was absolutely amazing. I have spent hours re-watching various scenes. I saw a killer and a child are changed forever by each other in my mind. -
