Firstly, the cultural globalization may extinguish cultural individuality and diversity of minor countries and minority groups. It is reported 90% of the worlds languages are not represented on the Internet; five main countries monopolize the world cultural industries trade and in the field of cinema, for instance, 88 countries out of 185 in the world have never had their own film production. Moreover, globalization erodes local languages and promotes Global English. A recent study published by the University of Hong Kong demonstrates that more than 80% of 6000 languages in the world are dying out because of globalization/ under threat of extinction. Last but not least, globalization has produced adverse effects on local cultural tradition and civilizations. Some people assert that the globalization actually is, to a large extent, Americanization and make it extremely difficult to maintain cultural integrity and religious identity.
