巧用虚拟语气提升作文 讲义--高考英语专题复习.docx
作文提分技巧之巧用虚拟语气新课标改革以来,虚拟语气已经不再出现在语法考核部分。但是在英语的日常表达中,虚拟语气占有很大的比例。尤其在作文中,应用更加广泛。巧妙使用虚拟语气,会让作文增色不少。写作中常用的虚拟语气结构为:I wish I could/would/did/和If I did, I would do If I had doneI would have done还有WithoutI would。我们这节语法课集中在If条件句。用Shakin' Stevens的歌曲Because I Love You 导入话题。让学生听歌曲填空并回答问题。If I got down on my knees and I pleaded with youIf I crossed a million oceans just to be with youWould you ever let me downIf I climbed the highest mountain just to hold you tightIf I said that I would love you every single nightWould you ever let me downWell I'm sorry if it sounds kinds sadIt's just that I'm worriedSo worried that you'll let me downBecause I love you love you love you so don't let me downIf I swam the longest river just to call your nameIf I said the way I feel for you would never changeWould you ever fool aroundWell I'm sorry if it sounds kinds bad it's just that I'm worriedI'm so worried that you'll let me downBecause I(love you love you) love you love youWell I'm sorry if it sounds kinds bad it's just that I'm worriedYes I'm so worried that you'll let me downBecause I love you love youOooh I love you love you love you听完歌曲完成歌词后问学生:a. In this song, who is the man saying to ? (A woman he loves.)b. What feeling is he expressing to the lady?(love and worry)c. What is the man worried about? (That the lady will let him down.)d. Why is past tense used in the If clauses? (To express the mans worries/wishes)通过讨论让学生明白虚拟语气可以用来表达人的担忧、愿望等等情感。讨论后马上让学生利用歌词对话加强对这种虚拟语气形式的认识:“If I_, would you_?”“Yes, I would. /No, I wouldnt.”此时小结:可以用If I were/ did I would 的虚拟语气形式表达与事实相反的愿望。给出以往课本出现过的句子,进行理解。“If you could have three of these paintings on the walls of your classroom, which would you choose?” “Have you ever wished you could paint as well as a professional artist?” “ If you were an artist, what kind of pictures would you paint?” “If the rules of perspective had not been discovered, no one would have been able to paint such realistic pictures.” “Without the new paints and the new technique, we would not be able to see the many great masterpieces for which this period is famous. “but without the Impressionists, many of these painting styles might not exist”。 “We would have won if Jack hadif we had”。口头接龙进行进一步巩固。句型可以扩展到 “If sb. were /didsb. would” 。二、利用班级实际情形设置环节帮助学生理解语言。1 . 让学生朗读List poem中的Our first football match,追问学生:“Did we win the football match, in fact?”(No,we didnt.) “Why didnt we win?” (Because Jack didnt score that goal, we didnt have enough time, we didnt train harder)问答结束后小结:Ifhad done, would have done 的虚拟结构表达跟过去事实相反。2. 上课时班上有学生骨折未痊愈,膝盖不能随意弯曲。所以笔头练习结束后马上转向该同学提问与之形成对话。帮助学生更进一步了解对过去虚拟的用法。T: How did you break your left knee?S: I landed on my knee and broke it when I was playing basketball. T: Do you mean if you hadnt landed on your knee when you were playing basketball, you wouldnt have hurt you knee?S: You are right. If I hadnt landed on my knee when I was playing basketball, I wouldnt have hurt my knee.T: Did you warm up enough before you began to play?S: No, I began to play without warming up.T: Do you mean if you had warmed up enough, you wouldnt have hurt yourself?S: Yes, I wouldnt have hurt myself if I had warmed up. I wish so, too.这段对话之后,面向全班布置小组练习。让学生在小组内使用“If I haddone,I. would (not )have done”或“If I hadnt done, I would (not) have done.”分享自己对已经生的事情的遗憾和心愿, 最后每个小组一名代表报告小组分享的结果,使用“If he/she hadnt done, he/she would (not) have done.” 或 “If he/she had done, he/she would (not) have done” 该小组活动中学生在练习使用语法结构的同时,也完成了真实信息的传递,不会枯燥无味。 三、课后作业让学生在真实合理情景中使用语言。寒假刚刚结束,学生热议的话题之一就是对寒假的各种吐槽与不满,希望过不一样的理想中的寒假;所以想到了可以让学生在写作中表达自己的心声;另外,十六七岁青春正旺,一方面学生对自己的现状有很多不满,另一方面他们又正是做梦的季节,对未来充满了憧憬,所以又想到这可以让学生用写作抒发一番。结合诗歌,将作业设置为诗歌写作:能力强的同学写两首,也可自命题。能力弱的学生可以只写一首。A. My dreamI wouldIf认知心理学认为,如果输入大脑的信息具有一定的趣味性或实用性,那么当他达到大脑这一中心加工器时,便产生兴奋的情感,输出活跃的思想与行为。而真实的活动意味着将语法还原成实践。这节课的引入和练习及作业的设计,让学生在真实的情景或设置的情景或贴近生活的情景中学习英语,产生更大的兴趣,愿意积极地投入到学习中去,从而更好地培养学生的语言交际能力。学科网(北京)股份有限公司
