In the primary only 4 students have glasses on their eyes, but the number of myopic (近视) students adds to 13 in the senior graduation picture. It is worst that in the collegial picture only 2 students dont wear glasses. From the picture we can see, the rate of students who are myopic is increasing sharply. This condition cannot be disregarded. I think there are probably two reasons why more and more students wear glasses. First of all, before entering the college, the students usually live and study under high pressure. In modern society, the exam-oriented education （应试教育）gives students too much stress, they have to study very hard to get high scores and to win a better future. Even during their spare time, they are sent to different kinds of agencies to learn more things. They are so tired that they have little time to rest their bodies and their eyes. But after entering the college, the students suddenly have a lot of spare time. They don't take advantage of the spare time to learn, but to play the computer games. Some students even don't go to classes in order to play the computer games. They always stare at a computer screen, so after a long time, they got short-sights. As far as my concerned, on the one hand, I think our government should change our educational system, reducing the pressure of the students. On the other hand, I think the students should know what they really need, only in this way, we can develop better and more healthily. (In fact, I don't think it is fair and good for the children who are growing. They should have the right to decide their own life. They deserve a happy and healthy life.)Public MoralityIn the picture, an old woman was carrying a lot of things, which seemed to be quite heavy. She was too old to carry the two big bags and a basket full of vegetables. She walked a few steps, tired out of breath. At this time, a young man with his girl friend went by. They are dressed in fashion, and they walked and talked. They looks having very high quality, and they seemed to be very compassionate (同情) to the poor old lady. The boy said “If Lei Feng was still alive, the old lady would not be so tired to carry the things alone. Lei Feng would help her.” After saying these words, they left without doing anything to help the old woman.What a stupid and ironic (讽刺的) picture it is! But it does really show us the condition of our society. Nowadays more and more people complain about the disappearance of the spirit of Lei Feng. Instead of reflecting on themselves, they owe this to the social unconsciousness of helping each other. I believe that as a young person in modern society, we should take the responsibility and make ourselves good examples for people. Helping others will also make us feel happy and rich.Environmental Protection In this picture ,we can see that sand storm is chasing a man with an imagination of a monster. On the ground lays an axe. Around them are many tree stumps. This picture shows the consequence of deforestation. Human is paying back for their excess exploitation and destruction of the environment.As we all know, the earth is basic of humans existence. we should treat it just as treat our parents. In the last years, however, it seems as if we have forgotten this principle. To earn more money, on the one hand, human exploit the resources underground as much as possible such as oil, coal and so on. On the other hand, we destroy the environment as much as possible, too. We cut so many trees down, which results in sand storm. We pore waste water to rivers and ocean, which results in water pollution. We pollute the air with various kinds of poisonous gases.Now, we are paying back for what we have done for nature. Sand storm is attacking our living areas and the quality of air is becoming poorer and poorer. We have to wear masks when going out. We dont trust the quality of underground freshwater any more. The water we drink have to be purified by companies. More and more people become sick because they eat poisonous food which is polluted by human themselves. How can we protect our environment? In my opinion, at first, some laws should be made to ban the pollution and deforestation. At second, everyone should have a sense of protecting environment in daily life. It needs everyones effort to cherish our living hometown-earth.Chinese University Graduates PK Overseas Returnees From the picture, we can see three persons, two of them are carrying a heavy tortoiseshell, they are overseas returnees. All of them have a diploma in their hands. There is a boss in the picture, he is interviewing the two overseas returnees. We can clearly see that one of the overseas returnees have been eliminated, he is very upset and leave depressed. As for another overseas returnees, he also seems to be eliminated, but he is arguing with the interviewer. He says "You have to understand, I am a overseas returnees!" He is very proud. But the interviewer also says "Excuse me, what we most attach importance to is the actual ability to work." What a impressed picture it is. In today's society, the competition is becoming more and more intense, it's very difficult to find a job. So many students choose to study abroad, they think that it will be easy to find a good job if they have a diploma in studying abroad. In fact, it's wrong, when they look for work after returning from abroad, they will find that the most companies need the real talents who have the actual working abilities, instead of a diploma. So as for the Chinese university graduates, they shouldn't worry about that they are worse than the overseas returnees, though they don't have a diploma in study abroad, however, if they have the real abilities to work, they will win the competition in finding a job. As far as I am concerned, as a college student, we shouldn't care about the place where we learn. What we really need to do is developing our own actual abilities, we should study hard, and accumulate gradually.
