The heavy rain led to a flood. 重点语法:状语从句 在复合句中,用作状语的从句叫状语从句。根据它表达的意思可分为时间、原因、条件、比较、结果、目的和让步等类型。1. unless ,if引导的条件状语从句。I wont pass the exam unless I study hard.= I wont pass the exam if I dont study hard. One cant learn a foreign language unless he studies hard. Lets go out for a walk unless you are too tired.= If you are not too tired, lets go out for a walk.The mice knew that unless they helped her make a dress, she would not be able to go to the party. 观察上面的句子:unless=_,引导条件状语从句时,主句使用_时态,或含有_,或使用_,从句使用_时态。当从句使用一般过去时时,主句使用_时态。2. as soon as 引导的时间状语从句。 I will write to you as soon as I get there. As soon as her father died, the stepsisters made her do all the chores.as soon as意思是_.引导时间状语从句时,主句为一般将来时时,从句用_时态。当主句为一般过去时时,从句使用_时态。3.sothat引导的结果状语从句。Sometimes he can make the stick so small that he can keep it in his ear.She was so busy that she had no time to make a dress for the party.sothat意思是_.引导结果状语从句.句型是:主语+谓语+so+adjadv+that从句。可与tooto互相转换。当堂检测:一根据句意及汉语或首字母提示完成单词。1.We could see many stars s_ brightly at that time.2.Dont go i_ the room.
