Cherish the opportunity to work hard and enjoy the school life and try to make a difference in the future.三、教学重点及难点The teaching Focus1 Master the words: difference, village, education, yourself, drop, possible, never, future.2. Students may find it difficult to master the usage of important words and phrases.四、学情分析七年级下册学生已经具备了介绍的基本知识和技能,为本课的学习作下了铺垫。此阶段的学生是一个特殊时期,有了一定的英语学习习惯,但须巩固,他们有了一定的认知能力和语言基础,需要进一步扎实基础,提升能力,但是学生学习的差异性很大,部分语言学习能力较强的学生表现更为优异,对英语学习表现出较强的自信心,能积极参与课堂活动,针对他们,任务的设计可以是对语言表达能力要求较高的活动,引导他们在小组活动中积极与他人合作,互相帮助,共同完成学习任务;班里还有一些语言能力较差,语言综合运用能力没能达到要求级别,自信心不足,缺乏学习动力与积极性,教师要鼓励他们,针对他们设计容易完成的活动,使其体验到成功的喜悦的同时,激发培养英语学习兴趣,树立信心。对学生的活动进行评价,让学生能及时得到激励。五、教法、教具录音机,六、教学过程教师活动学生活动设计意图Step 1: lead in.Step 2:Listen and find the answers to the questions and pay attention to the pronunciation at the same time.Step 3:Read silently and find new words and phrases in the text.Step4: Explain some new words and phrases.Instruct the students to read the title of Lesson 15(Making a Difference).(Write Making a Difference on the blackboard. Do you think school makes a difference in your life? Does school help you or make you better? T :Thats right. School teaches important skills. That can help you do well in the future. What does in the future mean? (Write in the future on the blackboard and explain the meaning of the phrase.)Let students answer a question.a) What are you going to be in the future?2) T: School can help you get a good job later in your life. So teachers want their students to stay in school. They dont want their students to drop out of school.(Write drop out of school on the blackboard and explain the meaning of the phrase.)T: To drop out of something or somewhere means you stop doing something or you leave someplace. For example, Shang Yaohui is not here any more. He drops out of school. Are you clear?Let students translate a sentence.a)他们退出了足球俱乐部。T:You are right. And do you know the meaning of give up? (Write give up on the blackboard and explain the meaning of the phrase.)It means you stop trying to do something. For example: My father is a smoker. He smokes a lot every day. My mother hopes that he can give up smoking because she thinks smoking is bad for his body. Now do you know the Chinese meaning of give up? (1)help +宾语+(to) do sth.; (2) help sb with sth ; (3) help (to)do sth.(4)help oneself to6.in every possible way7.never 否定频率副词,放在助后行,常用于一般现在时,always 的反义词。九、教学反思本课注重了学生的语言交际能力的培养,着力培养学生的表达喜好以及谈论学习兴趣,激发学生的学习动机和培养他们热爱生活的品质。在教学中恰当的运用了角色扮演的教学方法,变无意注意为有意注意,使学生在表演之中实实在在地进行语言信息交流,避免了枯燥的死记硬背,激发了学生的学习兴趣,增强了学生学好英语的信心和决心,使良好的英语学习心理素质在表演之中逐渐培养起来。作为英语老师,上课及时转换自己的角色和观念,组织好每一项课堂活动,把表演的机会给学生,让学生成为真正的“主角”,让学生时刻处在体验,实践,参与,合作与交流的活动中,使他们的语言技能,语言知识,情感态度,学习策略和文化意识等素养得到整体发展,应该说预期的教学目标已经达成。
