英语教学法(2)试题 Design activities for group of junior middle school students using the material offered below. The main focus of your activities should be to further communication skills. Follow the steps below: l The lesson should cover three stages: presentation, practice and production l Include activities to fulfill certain language functions as well as to improve pronunciation, intonation and conversation techniques. l At least one of the activities should require the use of some kind of electronic equipment. Then you must have a backup plan in case of a mishap. l Plan to give information on foreign culture if you think it is necessary for students to have this to understand the material. l Clear objectives are an essential part of this exercise. Make certain that you have indicated what the students should be able to do by the end of this exercise. l Task variety is expected. The activities should involve more than one form of class organization. 1. Fill in the chart on your answer sheet with a brief description of each activity. Fill in all the categories as indicated. Make certain the activities are numbered. 2. On the next pages, write out each activity in full , making certain that you include the numbers for reference. Clarify how each activity will lead to the accomplishment of the objectives. 3. Include clear, detailed instructions for the students. Indicate for each activity what interaction patterns you will use, like whole class, pairs, groups, individual etc., an approximate timing, a classroom seating arrangement and how the answers are to be checked and errors corrected. 4. Describe the materials and equipment you will use and the reason for using each item. Make certain you clarify how the equipment and materials will lead to achievement of your objectives. 5. include an answer key for all the activities that have set answers, but not for those that are left open. 6. Predict the problems that are likely to arise in class and offer relevant solutions.
