IntroductionIn order to prevent injury happen when electricity failure, a safety handling procedure is needed. This procedure is a guide line for safety handling method. 4.Definitions and AbbreviationsPTE Plant Engineering Section of Maintenance Engineering Department. EMS Environmental Management System. EIRF Environmental Incident Registration Form EMS officer EMS officer (Shenzhen) 5.ResponsibilitiesArea supervisor - To arrange evacuation in the area under no power condition. PTE supervisor - Monitor the repairing job and the people evacuation. EMS officer - Follow up the incident. 6.ProceduresPower Failure Response QKW-666-EMS0011AA Page: 2of 2 Date: 99-10-06 6.1 Planning and Preparedness 6.1.1 By joining yearly fire drill, all personnel shall familiar with the escape routes. 6.1.2 Make sure that the emergency light & exit light must be function from time to time by regular inspection. 6.2 In case of power failure happen 6.2.1 If condition of stuffy and darkness becomes worst, line supervisor shall arrange all personnel leaving from the site, the procedure is same as QKW-666-EMS0002. 6.3 Resume normal 6.3.1 After repairing and checking, PTE supervisor shall inform those who are in the assembly point to resume working. 6.3.2 Area supervisor shall fill out a environmental incident registration form and summit to EMS officer. 7.
