No sooner than - 一 就 =hardly when 如：No sooner had he arrived than he went away again. 考点 2： 引导地点状语从句的从属连词where , wherever, 等。Where - 在 地方如：Put the medicine where you can easily get it. Where there is a will, there is a way. Wherever - 无论哪里如：He follows her wherever she goes. 考点 3： 引导原因状语从句的从属连词because, since, as, now that, in that, for 等。1.Because - 因为 , 如： Mr Smith was very upset because he couldn t find his luggage.2.As - 因为 , 通常放在句首，如： As he is honest and modest, all his friends like him. 3.Since -语气较弱 , 常译为既然，如： Since the purser didn t tell us what to do, we can relax.4.Now that - 既然，如： Now that you are here, you can join us. 5.For -语气最弱，不放句首，表补充说明，如：The ground was wet, for it rained yesterday. 考点 4： 引导让步状语从句的从属连词although, though, even if, even though, as, whether or, no matter what/who/how/when, whatever, whoever, however, whenever 等。1.Although, though - 虽然； although 常放在句首。 though 可以用于倒装。如：Although it was raining, the plane managed to take off.
