八年级英语分级阅读拓展课教案一一、 教材分析 (1) 教学内容:本课是一堂英语阅读课a letter,文章通过书信的形式介绍了有关Britain的学问,从著名城市、自然风景、气候条件、它的历史与饮食文化等方面,介绍了英国这个国家。通过本节课的阅读教学,使学生从阅读中获得相关的关于英国的信息,让学生学会对信息的处理与加工,进步学生的综合语言运用实力。 (2)教学目的:学问目的:理解英国的风土人情与著名城市的特色,增加了词汇量。 实力目的:培育学生听、说、读与写的实力,尤其是阅读方面的技巧。通过运用多媒体,培育学生的英语口头表达实力,分析问题与解决问题的实力。熬炼学生用英语自己组织复述课文。 情感目的:理解西方的文化,加深对英语的理解与运用,加深对本国文化的理解与相识,培育世界相识,有利于形成跨文化交际实力。(3) 教学重点与难点;驾驭重要的单词与短语,充分利于关键词复述课文。训练学生的Fast reading、careful reading等阅读技能。(4) 教学方法:问答式、任务型阅读三、教学手段:多媒体、图片 四、教学过程Step 1: 读前与热身(Pre-reading and warm up)By asking students the following questions, the teacher can raise students interest in this topics.(1) What is Britain famous for(2) When we talk about Britain, what do you think of(3) Have you ever heard anything interesting about Britain设计说明为了激起学生阅读的爱好,用幻灯片演示出Britain的风光,给出三个问题,让他们来答复。既引出了话题,也可练习学生的英语口语与用英语发言的志气于胆识。Step 2:导入 (Leading in)Present a map of Britain to students by Power Point.T: What is the capital city of Britain and where is itS:Answer the question and point the position.T: Where is the largest city London, locatedAsk some students to answer it.设计说明通过多媒体展示Britain的地图,来理解Britain在世界所处的位置,以及它的著名城市在Britain的位置,让学生有一个视觉上的感受,进一步引导学生的观赏实力,进步他们的阅读爱好。Step 3 读中与快速阅读 (While reading and Fast reading)Firstly ask some students to read some words on the blackboard. These words have been studied in the last lesson. Before students read the text, ask some students to think about what subjects will be covered in the passage, Read the passage quickly and answer the following questions.(1) Who did Peter spent a week with(2) Is it the language that different from England(3) What are the differences in Britain设计说明首先让一些学生朗读本课中的单词,其中有些是省生单词,这些在上节课中已经领读过了,再次让学生的读单词,既复习了上一堂课的内容,又熬炼了学生的英语口语与胆识。培育了学生参加阅读的动力,表达了学生的主体地位。给学生提出任务,带着任务去阅读,扶植学生预料话题,学生只要泛读就能答复这些问题,因为这些问题主要针对文章的主旨大意与比拟明显的细微环节内容。引导学生分析问题,由浅入深,由感性相识到理性思索,从而降低了阅读难度,为进一步阅读作好充分的打算。Step 4 精读 (careful reading)Part one: Read the details below and choose which ones are true(T),which ones are false(F).( ) 1.Peter has spent two weeks in Britain.( ) 2.Habits in Britain are different .( ) 3. Let students have a competition. Choose the best group. Ask them to read the passage again. Make sure that students can dist1、English in Britain is _from that they learn at school.2、Peter had expected to see_ in Britain.3、The best city for sailing and fishing is _.4、The weather in Britain is _.5、Local _ and _ are not as the same as they know.设计说明为了变更英语阅读课堂的惊慌而又枯燥的课堂气氛,我把全班学生分成四组,每一组正好代表加拿大的四大世界著名的城市。给出的五道填空题,是考察学生对文章中的细微环节与逻辑推理实力。既有效的训练了在规定的时间内学生的阅读速度,也就是泛读与精读实力,又熬炼了学生的团体合作实力,让学生体验与感受集体主义精神。依据学生的反映,评出最佳小组,给于适当的表扬与激励,同时也加深了学生对文章内容的理解。Step 5难点处理(difficult points)Write some difficult and new words on the blackboard. Ask students not to refer to the dictionary or ask me for an explanation every time they come across a new word. .Encourage them to guess the meaning from the context.设计说明由于本课教学任务主要是培育学生的阅读技巧,文章中琐碎的语言点我支配在下一课时。文中的新单词与比拟难理解的词汇,我并没要求学生查字典,也没有干脆说出他们的汉语意思。而是激励学生依据课文中的详细语境来揣测词的含义。特殊要留意该词所在的前后句子。这也是为高考做打算,高考每年都要考察学生揣测生词的含义。Step 6 读后( Post reading):discussionOrganize students into pairs. Each pair may choose to focus on a specific subject about Britain, such as its history , its geography or cities ,based on the reading passage or any other resources they can find. Praise students for any parts they do well in. Try not to focus on their mistakes, as this will discourage students from speaking in front of the class.设计说明组织学生依据文章内容或者他们能找到的相关Britain的资料,在课堂上分成小组进展探讨。话题可以是有关的历史,地理状况,城市等。学生是探讨的主体,我赐予适当的激励,肯定不要专注与学生的错误,因为他们可能丢失在课堂上发言的志气与信念。这侧重与训练学生的开口说的技能。Step 7 小组活动(Group-work) Give some key words to the students .Ask them to retell the text according to these words on the screen.设计说明学生已经很熟识文章的内容与篇章构造,依据关键词,通过小组活动来复述课文,学生更加详尽地理解Britain,对西方国家的文化产生了爱好。同时也练习了本课所出现的重要的词汇。Step 8 布置作业(Homework)Do some exercises on the text to practice phrases.
