would/should/might/could+do 过去 过去完成式 would/should/might/could+have done 将来 did/ were to/should do would/should/might/could+do3) could,should,might,would,must,neednt +如今完成时其中neednt +如今完成时:表示过去本不必做某事,但事实上做了。(也可以说didnt have to do)Eg:I neednt have written to him because he phoned me shortly afterwards 我本不必给她写信Must+如今完成时:表示对过去状况较有把握的,确定性的推想,译为“确定,准是,确定”其否认式用cant/coulnthave done ,表示“不行能做过”或“不行能发生”Eg:johns score the test is the highest in the class ;he musthave studied last nightWould+如今完成时:表示过去会发生而未发生。用于虚拟句的主句,表示对过去状况的假设Eg:had he worked harder ,he would have got through the exam. 假如当时他更努力些,他会通过考试另外could,should,might即可是虚拟语气的用法,也可是表示推想的用法Should :虚拟:表示过去应当做而没有做,其否认式shouldnt have done 表示过去不应当做的事却做了,译为“本应当”本应当”本不该”“本不应当”Eg:you shouldnt have been following him 不该 So closely ;you should have kept your distance 推想:还可以表示过去的推想,译为“应当(已经)”Eg:ten oclock ,sh shold have arrived in her office by no 应当 Could:1.虚拟语气的用法:表示过去有可能做某事而没有做,译为“原来可以/会,本可以(但事实上没做)”,其否认式couldn't have done译为“本不会,本不能(但事实上做了)Eg:you could have finished your asignment yesterday moring ,but it was not done until 11 when you want to bed你本可以再昨天早上就做完作业,但你直到昨晚十一点上床之前才做完2. 表示对过去已经发生的事情的推想,译为“有可能(已经)”eg:he could have gone off with soe friends他有可能和挚友出去了Might:可以有两层意思1. 表示对过去可能发生的事情的推想,意为有可能,其用法与may have done相像 Eg:I might have come to a wrong conchsim2. 虚拟语气用法表示某事过去有可能发生(但事实上并没有发生),常用来表示Eg:you might have
