序数词表示数目的顺序或事物的位置的词，叫作序数词。L序数词的形式从第一到第三为独立的特殊形式first, second, third. 从第 4 到第 19 以基数词加"th”构成：fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth tenth, eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth fifteenth, sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth第20以上的的序数词 从20到90等以ty结尾的十位整数，把y 改成 i 再加"eth”构成序数词 twentieth, thirtieth, fortieth, fiftieth, sixtieth, seventieth, eightieth, ninetieth 100的序数词为：hundredth o其余的两位或多位数，只将个位改成序数词，其余仍用基数词表 示：twentyfirst,thirtysecond,forty一thirdtwo hundred and ninth-eighth（第 298）three thousand, seven hundred and twenty-first（第 3721）第 23 道菜 the twenty-third dish第 120 个学生 the one hundred and twentieth student第 526 天 the five hundred and twenty-sixth day注意：fifth, ninth, twelfth与原基数词拼写不同。序数词的缩写形式为阿拉伯数字加序数词最后两个字母组 成。第一:first 1 st 1st第十四:fourteen 14小第二十二:twenty-second 22nd12211d（第 122）, 38th（第 38）, 281st（第 281）2983rd（第 2983）,1320th（第 1320）默写1-12的序数词20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90 的序数词【分数】分子由基数词表示，分母由序数词表示分子由基数词表示，分母由序数词表示分子由基数词表示，分母由序数词表示三分之一 one third当分子大于1时，分母的序数词要用复数形式 三分之二 two thirds五分之四 four fifths八分之三 three eighths分数大于1三又四 分之一 three one fourth一又二分之一 one and a half用法：假设分数值大于1,后面接名词时，名词用复数形式分数值小于1时，可数名词后面也要用单数。一个半小时：one and a half hoursone hour and a half分数所修饰的名词在句子中做主语时后面搭配的谓语动词与名词保持一致。Two thirds of students are going to the park tomorrow.【年份】例：在 1998 in nineteen ninety-eight 在 1870 in eighteen seventy在 2008 in two thousand and eight 234BC two hundred and thirty-four BC【基数词表达年代、世纪】例:in the 1800s 在 19 世纪 in the eighteen hundreds in the nineteenth centuryin the 1880s在1880年代/ 19世纪80年代in the eighteen eighties in the eighties of the nineteenth centuryin the 1950s在1950年代/ 20世纪50年代in the nineteen fifties in the fifties of the twenty century表示整十的基数词用复数形式可以表示人的大约岁数或年代。如：He is in his early twenties.他才二十出头。The war broke out in the nineties.这次战争爆发于 90 年代。Karl Mark began to learn the Russian language in his fiftieth.马克思五十多岁开始学俄语。基数词表示几个，后接名词复数，而序数词表示第几个（即一个）， 后接可数名词的单数。如：six friends（六个朋友）the sixth friend （第六个朋友）序数词前通常要用定冠词，但表示考试或比赛等的名次时，通常可省 略其前的定冠词。如： My room is on the second floor and his on the third.This is the first girl who fascinates me.这是第一个迷住我的女孩。He was (the) third in the exam.他考试得了第三名。序数词主要用作定语，前面一般要加定冠词(或物主代词)。如：Their second son is a doctor. 他们的二儿子是个博士。L Choose the best answer()1.
