ISTA took lead in proposing packaging performance testing and certification 60 years ago. Today their testing procedures and certification program are at the forefront of transport packaging. ISTA members include shippers who manufacture and deliver goods, carriers who provide distribution means, vendors who provide packaging materials and services, and laboratories that test the performance of packaged products.
