It is one of the most popular adventure novels. It is the story of Robinson Crusoe, an Englishman who is shipwrecked in a lonely island. He builds himself a hut, grows his own food, and becomes self-sufficient. After 23 years he rescues a young native whom he calls Friday. Crusoe and Friday become close friends. They work together and they always maintain a positive, calm and optimistic attitude. Finally, four years later, they are both rescued and return to England. This novel is famous for its lovely details and its expression of belief in man's ability when left alone in nature.The story taught us to be brave and to face the challenges and difficulties with courage. I am deeply impressed by the strength and perseverance of the hero in the story. I have decided to learn from him from now on. I believe: If we have confidence and work hard, we can overcome difficulties and be the best of ourselves.-
