第06讲并列连词【基础知识】英语中的连词是连接单词、短语或句子的词，不能单独作句子成分。连词主要分为两 类：并列连词和附属连词。并列连词可以用来表示并列关系、转折关系、选择关系或因果 关系等。1. and的用法and表示并列关系，意为“和，又。用来连接两个或两个以上的单词、短语或句子。在 连接三个或三个以上的单词、短语或句子时，and 一般置于最后的单词、短语或句子之 前。My sister and I study in the same school.我和我的妹妹在同一所学校上学。John is from Italy and Tina is from Italy too.约翰来自意大利，蒂娜也来自意大利。 拓展延伸：连词and还常用于“祈使句+and+陈述句”结构中，意为“那么，就工其中祈使句表示条 件，连词and后的陈述句那么通常表示一个较好的结果，且陈述句常用一般将来时。Work hard and you'll pass the examination.努力学习，你就会通过考试。2. but的用法but表示转折关系，意为“但是”，所连接的成分意思往往相反或相对。He went to bed, but he could not all asleep.他去睡觉 了，但睡不着。The garden is small but beautiful. 这个花园虽小但很漂亮。3. or的用法or表示选择关系，意为“或者”。当连接两个主语时，谓语动词与or后面的主语在人称 和数上保持一致，即遵循“就近原那么，You can come here today or tomorrow.你可以今天来这儿，也可以明天来。Amy or you are going there.你或者埃米要去那里。拓展延伸：连词or还常用于“祈使句+。+陈述句”结构中，意为“否那么，要不然二 其中祈使句表示 条件，连词or后的陈述句那么通常表示一个不愉快或不理想的结果。Come on, or well be late.快点儿，否那么我们要迟到了。特别提醒：and和or都可表示“和”的意思，前者常用于肯定句；后者常用于否认句或疑问句。但 在否认句中，如果所连接的两局部都有否认词，那么用and而不用or。I'm not interested in French or Japanese. 我对法语和日语都不感兴趣。This doll has no arms and no legs. 这个玩具娃娃没有摘胳膊和腿。4. so的用法so表示因果关系，意为“因此，所以“，常用于句中来连接两个具有因果关系的简单 句。The girl is very kind, so we all like her. 这个女孩非常友善，所以我们都喜欢她。 特别提醒：并列连词so和附属连词because ”因为不能一起使用。He was ill, so he didn't go to school. = Because he was ill, he didn't go to school.因为他病了，所以他没有去上学。5. 并列连词 bothand, not onlybut (also)., eitheror和 neithernorboth.and,not only.but(also).either.or.和 neither.nor.都是常见的并列连词,它们 折的关系。应选B。25.
