-My View on Gun Ownership-第 3 页My View on Gun OwnershipAs we all know , America is the largest private gun ownership in the world. According to a recent estimation from the FBI that there are probably 12 guns for every man, woman, and child in the country. Its rather amazing and has become a heated discussion among people .Different people have different opinions about gun ownership .Some think they should have a gun to protect themselves, while others are against it. As for me ,I think gun ownership is not necessary for us.First of all, China has no tradition of privately-owned gun ownership. We Chinese are peace-loving and hope to build a harmonious society .Also, government dont allow us use guns and provide us with a safer environment, so we are strongly against guns. Whats more,. People may hurt themselves both physically and mentally .when you keep a gun for self-protection ,you will live with constant paranoia .Last but not least , some people will use guns to do illegal things, such as hunting animals, robbing a bank , hurting or even killing others.From what has been discussed above , we can draw a conclusion that its not good for us to own a gun .Also ,we just cannot easily say whether the gun itself is good or not because I think gun is only a tool and it cant do anything good or anything bad without people. Its usage depends on us human being. However, people are used to put too much negative values upon guns, which is unfair when we deal with guns. Only when people can use guns properly as well as reasonably will guns do well for our human beings. Of course, it calls for a perfect legal system and the changing of our notions.
