His name is2会用tall and strong, short and thin, friendly, quiet等词简要描述一个人的模样和特征。 3能听、说、认读单词和词组:tall and strong, short and thin, friendly, quiet二 教学内容: 本课是第三单元A部分的第二课时,主要内容是学习描述人物外形,掌握包括 tall and strong, friendly 等在内的单词,词组。同时学习LetsChant。三 教学重难点 重点是能听会说描述外形的基本词汇难点:词组 short and thin , 单词 quiet , friendly四 教学用具 多媒体课件,挂图五 教学过程Step 1 Preparation(1)T: Good morning, boys and girls. S: Good morning, teacher T: Do you want to see the monkey and the rabbit? S: Yes! T: OK, the monkey has a long tail and the rabbit has a short one. Then teacher shows the pictures to help students review the words: tall, long, short.(2)Play the Lets chant, since it is talking about friends ,teacher asks students “Do you have any friends? What does he look like?” Step 2 Presentation(1) Teacher shows the PPT, and says: Look! Today is Wang Taos birthday. Then let Ss think about if today is his birthday, which friend will come to your party?(2) Teacher shows the next page, its a fat outline. And the phrase is tall and strong. T clicks the ppt to play the voice of the phrase, Ss read after it. T clicks again to show the clear feature of Wang Taos friend. (3)Let Ss think about the meaning of the word “strong”. At the meanwhile the teacher make the action of power and muscles.(4)Teacher clicks the phrase again and asks Ss to read after it for two times. Then Ss read after the T for another two times.(5)Teach the other three new words: short and thin , quiet ,friendly in this wayStep 3 Practice (1) Teacher shows the picture which includes all the new words.(2) Play a game. Guess the word. The PPT will show students some pictures of incomplete people. Ss should guess what the word is in the blank according to the outline of the people. The word may be strong, thin, tall and short.Step 4 Production(1)Ss draw a picture of one of his friend, then describe his appearance using the words weve learned in this class.(2)Ask some students come to the blackboard and show his picture and describe himStep 5 ProgressTo emphasize the difficult words: quiet and friendly,teacher shows the picture which can help students deeply understand the meaning of the words.六 板书设计 Unit 3 My friends Part A Lets learn tall and strong short and thin friendly quiet
