It was a hard time when Santiago floated on the sea for almost 3 days in order to catch a big fish called marlin. Finally, he made it. But unfortunately, the smell of blood attracted a lot of sharks. At last, all his effort to drive away the sharks was in vain. His marlin was eaten up, and he still got nothing.Although the consequence was not so good, I still believe that Santiago is a real hero. A hero, not means that he is never afraid of anything, but means that he is really afraid, but he never gives up. This is hero. In addition, his words in this story also impressed me a lot.
