The Story of the Stone I love the book which named “the story of the stone” very much. I have read it for twice, and I would read it for the third time if I have enough time .,As we all know, the story of the stone is one of the most famous Classic literature of China, which form the Four great classics with Outlaws of the marsh, Journey to the West and The romance of the Three Kingdoms.,This book takes the Rongguo house s daily life as the center, and take the tragic love and marriage among Jiabaoyu, Lindaiyu and Xuebaochai as its masterstroke, together with the trivia happened in the Grand View Garden. With the history from prosperity to decline and fall of the four Noble houses families of Jia, Shi, Wang and Xue in Jinling city. The book Herald that feudal society would go into a cul-de-sac. “It is not a love story, it is also a history story, because it describes the success and failure of the feudal period.” said the Chairman Mao. And he also said that, the story of the stone began with love and ended with love but it was much more than love.,If we read the book carefully, we could find that there are many people with different characters in it. According to statistics, there are about 400 people in the book. The author describe the people so skillfully imitated as to be indistinguishable from the original. If somebody remind me the name of somebody, I would remember something significant of him or her. There are many beautiful poets in this book. Such as Five beautiful songs(五美吟）, qiuchuangfengyuxi（秋窗风雨夕） and so on. there are also many delicious food in the book, like Fried quail, Pheasant soup, Ham and bamboo shoots soup and Crab dumplings and so on.,The most famous method the author used in this book is the homophonic allusion（谐音）. We can see this performance everywhere. For example, the 贾宝玉 voiced like 假宝玉，the 林黛玉 voiced like 怜待玉，the name of the four miss in mansion house of Jia called元迎探惜,is voiced like原应叹息and so on. The last and the most important character is that ,the storyline of the book is very good . I think you will like it.,She does not understand the world, she does also not understand herself . Her thoughts are different from others, together with the character of doing what she likes. This makes her could not get on well with others people in rongguo house.,Now I want to introduce some figures described in this book to you. The first one is Lindaiyu. She is one of the lead in the book. And she is the lead of the twelve Jinchai（十二金钗）. In many people eyes, lindaiyu is a weak girl. The gift weak makes her a negative person and always thinks things with a native attitude. But we should admit that , lindaiyu is a beautiful girl ,and full of knowledge . The poetry she made is very beautiful. She loves jiabaoyu and their love are Platon love(柏拉图式的恋爱）. She is a fool in love(情痴)。She is bored for love ,lived for love and died for love. As the book said in the first ,she is bored to pay a debt of gratitude。 She uses a dreaming feel to see the world, as well as those things around her.,The second one I want to introduce is Xuebaochai. She is one of the three leads in the love tragedy of Bao,Dai and Chai. She is a typical demure lady(端庄淑女）in feudal time(封建时代）. Maybe some of you would think she is sophisticated(圆滑世故)。I would not agree with you. This is her special character. She is good at handling the different relationship among different people in different ways .,She is full of good heart to help others ,no matter who is it ,which help her win many supporters in this big family. This is her most prominent(突出的) character . And in my eyes ,she is the one who most has the ability to control the big family . If she lived in our society ,I think she can be lined in the management layer(管理层)。,The third one I want to introduce is Jiabaoyu. He is the male lead in this book. In this book , jiabaoyu played a treason(叛逆) role. He said no to that men should have a good job or success in his work. He also said no to men should go far away from women. From the saying said by him,“ women are made from water, and men are made of soul”, we can see that jiabaoyu is said no to the feudal thoughts(封建思想). And he never look himself as a strong man, in his mind ,men are dirty because of their dirty minds. Jiabaoyu is a special one in the book , we should not make too much comments about him. What we should do is let him go back to the Taixu dreamland(太虚幻境).,There are many things you can conclude after you have finished reading it. But today I would stop here.
