    Unit 5 Whats the weather like in Beijing?教学设计第二课时 Phonetics review (Vowels: Chant 1 and Chant 2)1教学内容本课时包括Phonetics review (Vowels: Chant 1 and Chant 2)部分,具体训练内容为:元音/ei/ /ai/,辅音:/h/ /r/ /l/ /tr/ /dr/。 2教学重点、难点教学重点:上述音标的准确发音;教学难点:元音/ei/ /ai/的区分。3. 教学目标知识目标: 通过模仿、辨别进一步熟悉音标中元音/ei/ /ai/,辅音:/h/ /r/ /l/ /tr/ /dr/的正确发音;能力目标: 正确跟读上述音标及相关歌谣、单词。4. 教学步骤Step I IntroductionMake a brief introduction about the vowels /ei/ /ai/ / /au/ and consonants /h/ /r/ /l/ /tr/ /dr/ that will appear in following two classes.Step II Practice on Vowels: /ei/ Chant 1 Rain, rain, go away! Activity 101. Try to pronounce. Ss read aloud the words given: nail, cake, eight, train, plane and mail.2. Repeat and choose. Ss match the words with proper pictures, then check with each other.3. Listen and check. The teacher checks the Sspronunciation of the above words.4. The teacher briefly summarizes more words that contain the pronunciation /ei/, such as face, hate.(设计意图:可采用头脑风暴的形式,让学生先自己尽量多列举,复习已学词汇。)Activity 111. Listen to a chant. (individual work)2.
