Unit4 Lesson21 优质课教案 一、Analysis of teaching materials 这是第四单元第三课阅读课,围绕books or computers 展开话题。阅读是一个单元语言输入较为集中的环节,阅读中的教学活动主要围绕阅读材料本身的内容展开。阅读后的活动旨在让学生通过完成问题、辩论和语言难点的学习等形式进一步加深对文章的理解。同时,通过本课阅读的学习,教育学生做一个爱读书的人,并且通过对中国古四大发明的了解,热爱我们的祖国。 二、 Analysis of students 初二学生已具备一定的英语语言表达能力,所以教师可以设计一些学生自主表达的环节,比如与本课内容有关的话题讨论等,但因为学生基础稍差的实际情况,语言准确性会差些,教师要及时引导。三、Learning aims 1 Knowledge aim New words and phrases: appear, modern, electronic, sell(sold,sold), press pass on, by hand, printing press, keep on 2 Ability aim Cultivating students reading ability and using English to express themselves. 3 Emotion aim Keep on reading and know more about the history of China. 四、 Teaching and learning methods Reading instruction. 五、 Teaching process Step 1 Lead in. Choose several students to guess what we will talk about according to title of todays lesson. Step 2 Quick reading Open the book and read the text quickly for the first time. Students need to finish only one question: Whats the main idea of this passage? (此环节是让学生初读课文,目的是训练快速阅读技巧,学生以较快的速度完成阅读,迅速找到答案,为后面的进一步学习奠定基础。) Step 3 Careful reading Let the students read the whole passage again and try to find the main idea of each paragraph. (此环节需要学生再读课文,找出各个段落的中心意思,要求学生带着明确的目标再课文,以达到有的放矢地进一步理解课文的目的。) Step 4 Group work ( Fine reading) Work in groups, students need to read each paragraph more carefully. They can discuss with their group mates and then find the answers to the questions. (此环节为细读部分,通过和小组成员的讨论和习题的完成,可以让学生全面理解课文的内容,并在此过程中解决本课知识点。) Step 5 Competition Before the competition, let the students read the text loudly again to make sure they have been familiar with the passage. Divide the students into two groups. Then they need to close their English books and try to finish the passage on the screen with different numbers of blanks. (此环节为精读以及输出部分,该环节要求学生把所学知识通过语言实践竞赛的方式输出,根据课文内容,挖空填词,随着挖空越来越多,难度越来越大,得分多的组获胜) Step 6 Emotion Show the students the four great inventions of ancient China and four new inventions of modern China. Make the students know more about China and be proud of our country. Give the students time to discuss which new invention do they think changes the world most and choose several students to share their ideas with us. (情感升华部分) Step 7 Summary Summarize the whole passage again and discuss : Why does the writer such a passage? Step8 Homework Search the Internet to find more knowledge about the four new inventions of modern China. Choose one you like best to write a passage about the history of it.
