    一 教学目标 1. 语言目标: 知识目标:能掌握以下重点单词如:Sydney, New York, Tokyo, host, race, dragon, study,wish, delicious, celebrate. 巩固V-ing 形式如living, reading, making 等,并掌握具体的词组搭配 如living with a family, reading a story, making food等。 功能目标:能够就时间点以及人们正在做的事情提出问题并作答。 询问时间:What time is it in Beijing? Its eight oclock in the morning. 现在进行时的问答:What is Zhu Hui doing? He is talking on the phone. What are his dad and uncle doing? They are watching the boat races on TV.等2. 情感目标: 通过小组讨论和对话练习培养同学们的合作精神和沟通交往能力,教师不断提出问题,鼓 励学生勤于思考,敢于表达自己的见解,提高学习英语的兴趣和热情,增强自信心。3. 文化目标: 了解不同国家存在时间差,中国人庆祝端午节的传统习俗,以及中西方文化差异。4. 方法目标: 鼓励学生多在真实语境中运用有关询问时间和现在进行时的句型结构。掌握一些阅读技 巧,如扫读获取重要信息,细读获取文章细节,通过关键词快速定位文中相关句子。掌握 听力技巧,如听前浏览问题,听时迅速简单做笔记。二 学情分析: 就我们班的学生而言,由于这边是乡村学校,不管是学校领导还是学生家长都更注重学生平时的考试成绩,这就使学生以及老师都不同程度地忽视了对学生语言运用能力的培养,也就是英语听说方面。久而久之,学生们害怕说英语,不敢用英语表达自己的想法。当然基础差的同学更是根本听不懂也不会说英语。七年级下册较上册而言,语言点更多,句型结构更加复杂,文章更长。考虑到这些因素,我设计了这堂有关端午节的课程,运用图片,设问,小组对话表演,听答,小组你问我答,完成表格,连线,造句,总结等这些活动方式。鼓励学生大胆举手发言,开口说英语,不害怕犯错误,给差生创造机会,让他们重拾学习英语的信心。三 重难点: 1.重点: 掌握本课生词,短语和句子。 在交际中运用现在进行时,并能够就时间问题作出问答。 提高学生的听,说,读的综合能力。 2. 难点: 听阅读篇章回答相关问题,能够用英语说出端午节的传统习俗,自行总结本节 课的学习内容。四 教学过程:1.Activity one :warming-up I have a usual greeting with my students. Try to catch their attention. And then introduce the topic of this class.2. Activity two :presentation I present four pictures about the four cities in 2a, let them guess what these pictures are about and which country the four cities are. Help them clear the difficult pronunciation of “Sydney, New York, Tokyo”. And then I show them the conversation “what time is it in Beijing? Its eight oclock in the morning.”Give them the example of how to ask the time.3. Activity three:pair work I ask the students to make new dialogues about another three clocks. Let students practice the dialogues with their partner and then role-play .I hope the students can master the structure“what time is it in sw? Its.” in class. 4. Activity four: ask and answer I give them two pictures about the Dragon Boat Festival. I ask them “ what can you see in the first picture? What are these men doing in Picture Two?” There are some zongzi in the first picture. And the men in P2 are having the boat race. They are all the activities people often do on this special day. Next, I lead them try to think “what they often do on that day?”let students express their different ideas. 5.:Activity five: listen and answer Listen to the radio and answer three question: “Why are Zhu Huis family are making zongzi? Does Zhu Hui like his host family? What time is it in New York?” Before listening, I tell them to look through the questions first , make some notes on their paper while listening. After listening, talk about the answers with their partner. In the end, have the students share their answers. One student ask and the other answer. 6. Activity six: read and complete the chart Ask two students to line out the TV report. And then complete the chart. At last make conversations “what is/are sb doing? He/she/they is/are doing sth.” The chart helps them know “what are Zhu Huis family and his host family doing?” Consolidate the use of the present progressive tense. And also realize Chinese people celebrate Dragon Boat Festival but the American dont. 7. Activity seven: match the words Let students try to focus on the six verbs and find them in the passage. Encourage them to use this reading skill. This can help them get the answers Quickly. Finally they read these phrases in chores. 8. Activity eight: write sentences Ask students put the phrases in 2a in whole sentences when reading them out. I correct them if necessary. After the six sentences appear on the screen, I ask again“what is Zhu Hui/the mother/his father. doing?”They answer together “He/she is .” 9. Activity nine: Summary Let the students recollect what they have learned in this class. Try to give more students the chance of speaking. Increase their confidence in learning English. After that,I give my summary as a reference. 10. Activity ten: Homework Write a new short passage about Dragon Boat Festival on their words. And also make new sentences by using “making, playing and running”. Its a consolidation step.
