状语从句一、知识讲解（一）状语从句涵义 （Adverbial Clause） 状语从句指句子用作状语时，起副词作用的句子。它可以修饰谓语、非谓语动词、定语、状语或整个句子。根据其作用可分为时间、地点、原因、条件、目的、结果、让步、方式和比较等从句。状语从句一般由连词(从属连词)引导，也可以由词组引起。从句位于句首或句中时通常用逗号与主句隔开，位于句尾时可以不用逗号隔开.状语从句的分类1.条件状语从句 We are going to have a football match if it doesnt rain(2014年长沙中考） .2.时间状语从句 I was doing my homework when my mother came in.（2011年湖南长沙中考）3.原因状语从句 Im leaving because I am fed up with the boss.4.结果状语从句 She is such a lovely girl that we love her very much.5.目的状语从句 He must get up early so that he can go to work on time.6.比较状语从句She is as bad -tempered as her mother.7.让步状语从句They are generous though they are poor.句子认知活学现用 判断下列句子类别：1.I was doing my homework when my mother came in.（2011年湖南长沙中考）2.When he arrives, I will tell you. 3.She didnt go to school because she was ill yesterday.4.He didnt go to bed until his mother came home.5.
