SectionA。本教材的编写本着循序渐进的原则,同一语法知识反复出现,逐步加深。现在完成时态在八年级上出现,在本单元主要是通过让学生了解一些发明的历史,本单元是在以前基础上对现在完成时态的拓展和延伸。 教学目标 知识目标:To learn to use Present perfect with already and yetTo listen and talk about having a vacation技能目标:训练学生运用网络查找资料;相互交流资料:训练学生对英语的听说能力。 情感目标:一些发明改变极大地改变了人们的生活;每个人都应该为社会做出自己的贡献。认识事物的多面性。 教学重难点    根据本节课的教学内容和学生对知识的理解程度,结合本课的教学目标与学习目标,确定本节课的重点是在交际活动的过程中能听懂会说重点句型Have you watered the plants yet? Yes, I have already watered them? 难点为重点句型的实际运用及现在完成时态表达方式。 教学过程设计 Procedures  Warming up by studying grammarGrammar is so important that it should always be learned and made use of in class. Today we shall learn to use “ Present perfect with already and yet”Look at the two sentences:Have you watered the plants yet? Yes, I have already watered them?Do you understand the structure of the two sentences? We shall make more sentences like those.Have you finished your homework yet? Yes, I have already finished it?Have you found your bike yet? Yes, I have already found it?To use the “ Present perfect with already and yet” more in communication, lets go on to page 110. 1a Thinking and writingHave you been on a beach vacation yet? If you go on a beach vacation, what three things would you pack?Think and write your ideas in the chart on page 110.1b Listening and checkingA family are packing things for a beach vacation. Now listen to their talk, paying attention to the “ Present perfect with already and yet”. And now check the chores listed below the family have already done. Packed the cameraWatered the plants× Locked the windowBought a travel guidebook × Bought a street map× Packed the beach towels1c Doing pair workImagine that you are going to the beach for the vacation. Ask your family members if they have already made a good preparation. Paying attention to the “ Present perfect with already and yet” structure.2a Listening and writingNext is another recording of a conversation about chores done or to be done. Listen to the conversation for what Mark did and what Tina did. While listening also pay attention to the “ Present perfect with already and yet” structure.Now on page 111write before the 6 sentences M for Mark or T for Tina.2b Listening and matching To match the questions below with the answers above in 2a, you shall listen to the tape again. Have you fed the cat yet? 5What about your bike? 2Are you ready, Tina? 1Have you turned off your radio? 62c Doing pair workTo practice spoken English you are to role play a conversation using the information from 2a and 2b. A: Are you ready, Tina?B: No, I havent cleaned out the refrigerator.B: No, I havent put the food in the garage yet.B: No, I havent locked the garage yet. B: No, I havent done my jobs yet. B: No, I havent taken out the trash.B: No, I havent fed the cat yet?B: No, I havent turned off my radio yet.3a Reading and underlining Here on page 112 is an e-mail message from Crystal. Now read it and underline all the different chores mentioned in it. Now read the message again to blacken the expressions and circle the “Present perfect with already and yet” structure.3b Doing group workOn page 112 in the middle is a chart with hours and chores done. Now in groups of four, ask your partner what he or she has done, using  “Present perfect with already and yet” structure.4 Doing group workWhat are you going to do this week? Now you are supposed to make a list of the things done and things to be done. You have to ask two of your classmates for their things done and to be done. Happy birthday to you.本节课在多媒体的辅助下,直观生动地呈现给学生学习语言需要的材料,为学生搭建了一个很好的语言练习的平台。所以用熟知的话题引出新知识的做法是很可取的。然后通过小组合作练习检查了老师布置的课前任务。学生通过完成课前任务,自己动手利用信息技术来完成学习任务,这也体现了英语教学与信息技术的整合,而且促进了学生的自主学习。“施之以教,贵在引导。”教师还通过自己对某些发明的看法来引导学生去思考对常见的事物的思考。这样可以启发学生的思维。最后达到了情感教育的目的,也体现了教育的本质:不仅要教书还要育人。
