He/She works at a bank.教学目的和要求本课教学主要是要求学生掌握各种职业的工作地点和讨论不同的职业的职业特点。教学重点和难点Phrases:work with,getfrom,wear uniforms, in the day,at night,talk to,work late,go out to dinners教学过程Step 1: RevisionTalk about the family and the jobs, Such as; My father is a worker. Show some pictures and present the words and phrases: doctor, reporter, policeman, policewoman, waiter, bank clerk, shop assistant.Revise different jobs that are shown in the picture.Step 2:PairworkGet the students to read the words and phrases. Ask some students to act in pairs. Show some pictures and practice the drills: What does heshe do? HeShe is a student doctorWhat does he want to be? He She wants to be aStep 3: PresentatonThe teacher show some pictures, and talk about the jobs, Such as; I am a teacher, And I work in a school. Go on to talk about the other pictures like this. Teach the new words: hospital, TV station, police station. Practice the new words and the new drills.Step 4: Pair-workPractice the new drills. The teacher asks, the students answerWork in pairs. Practise the conversation on the right. Use the jobs and places in the pictures.Where does he/she work? he/she works at a hospital.Ask and answer with the pictures . Then act out.Step 5: Discussing(3a)Look at the picture and match the jobs with the people in the pictures. Such as; I see a lot of money every day. But its not mine. I count it for other people match the bank clerk. Let the students practice more and more. They make a conversation to practice the drills. For example: What do you do?I help doctors and patients. Some people call us “angels in white”, Can you guess what I do?Do 3a and check the answers. Read and explain the new phrases: work with,getfrom,wear uniforms, in the day,at night,talk to,work late,go out to dinners.Step 6: Guessing gamePlay a guessing game. The teacher show some pictures, and ask the students to guess what the people in the pictures do. And talk about the jobs like 3a. Draw a picture of someone at work.Can your classmates guess the job? Just like: Is he a police officer? No, he isnt? Is he a waiter?
