Its close to students daily lives. So its very interesting. Students would be interested in it. This class is the second lesson of this unit. Its not difficult for students(二) Analysis of the students The Ss have learned English for about one month so far. They can understand some words and some simple sentences. The Ss have taken a great interest in English now. But in our school, many students are from the mountains. They are a little shy. They are afraid of speaking English and making mistakes in learning English. So in this part, students should be given more chance to practice their pronunciation, and speaking skills.(三)Teaching aims and demands1. Knowledge objectsFunctions: Talk about where things are. Structures: Where questions; Prepositions: on, in, under;2.Ability objects (1) To develop the Ss abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. (2) To train the Ss ability of working in pairs. (3) To develop the Ss abilities of communication .3.Moral objects (1) To enable the Ss to be tidy and love life. (2) To enable the Ss to look after their things well. (四)Teaching important and difficult points1、Important points:where questions and prepositions in/on/under2、Difficult points :Students can talk about where things are freely(五)Teaching aids:  In this class, I will use the CAI and some school things to help me finish this lesson.Part Two. Teaching Methods   I will use Communicative Teaching Method, “Task-based” Teaching Method, Pleasure teaching method and audio-visual teaching method.Part Three. Studying Methods1.Let the students discover and solve the problems by themselves.2. Make some conversations in pairs or in groups.3.Let the Ss pass "ObservationimitationPractice" to study language. Part Four. Teaching StepsStep 1.Greetings and lead inStart the class by an English song . It can improve their interests and help them revise “on, in, under”Step 2. Revision 1. Use the pictures to revise the words.2. Use the chant to revise the phrases.Step 3. TalkingTalk about our beautiful classroom together. We can revise the structures:Wheres the ?Its on/in/underWhere are?Theyre Step 4. Speaking practiceTalk about the pictures in pairs. Then let some pairs to show .Step 5. Guessing gameHelp the students use “Is it.?” “Are they?” to guess “where are the gifts?”Step 6. Writing practice1. Do 3a by themselves and check the answers.2. Students work in pairs: Find the differences of two pictures. A: Wheres the schoolbag? Is it under the table?B: No, it isnt. Its on the table.Then let the students write them. I can find the differences:Step 8. Exercises1. Fill in the blanks.2.Introduce the nice room. Step 9. HomeworkWrite a short passage about their classroom.Part Five: Blackboard Design As for blackboard design, Ill write the new words and the sentences on the left of the blackboard and the right is for the students. Teaching Reflection In This class talks about where things are. Students are interested in this topic. And its the second lesson of this unit. Its not difficult for them. So we should encourage all of the students to speak more in this part. Use songs and games to improve the students interests. At the same time, help them learn to write a short passage.
