In addition, each piece of Eriez equipment is backed by Eriez standard 1-year factory warranty in which: For the benefit of the original purchaser, Eriez warrants all new equipment of its manufacture, to be free from defects in material and workmanship and will replace or repair free of charge, at its factories, or other locations designated by it, any part or parts returned to it which Eriez examination shall show to have failed under normal use and service by the original purchaser within one year following shipment to the purchaser.Eriez obligation under this warranty is conditioned upon it receiving prompt notice of claimed defects which shall in no event be later than thirty (30) days following expiration of the one year warranty period and is limited to repair or replacement as aforesaid.This warranty is expressly made by Eriez and accepted by the purchaser in lieu of all other warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose, whether written, oral, express, implied or statutory. If any damage or shortage is found, notation to that effect should be made on the carriers delivery receipt.When damage is concealed, notify the delivering carrier at once and request him to make an inspection.Confirm telephone conversations in writing. If inspection is not made you should prepare an affidavit stating that you notified the transportation company on a certain date and they failed to comply.It is absolutely necessary that the carrier be notified within 72 hours from the date of delivery in order to be in a position to present a claim.Please save all containers and packing materials until all claims are settled.While our responsibility ceased when material is turned over to the transportation company, we are willing to assist you in processing your claim, however, in doing this we do not assume any responsibility for collection of claims or replacement of material. The amount of any claim for loss or damage is not deductible from our invoice, and payment of our invoice should not be delayed awaiting the adjustment of such claims.关于货物由于运输而造成缺陷或损坏：u 如果发现货物有缺陷或损坏，应在货物接收单上注明，并立即通知承运人并让其检查货物，并书面确认电话内容。如果承运人未进行检查，买方要有正式的书面陈述，说明在某天某时你通知了承运人，但他们没有做出反映。u 在收到货物后72小时内将发现的问题通知到承运人是绝对必要的，以维护您的权益。u 请保存所有有关集装箱和装箱材料的文件直到问题得以解决。当我们把设备交给运输公司后，我们的责任即告终止。但我们仍愿意协助买方维护权利，同时我们不承担任何确保您得到索赔或更换货物的责任。丢失或损坏的数额也不应该从我们的发票上扣除，并且在等候仲裁期间我们的货款也不应该被延期支付。WARNING警告BEFORE STARTING THIS EQUIPMENT：Check that no magnetic object has been attracted to the drum shell in the magnetic region, such as nuts, bolts, weld spatter, welding electrodes and tools. Place a conveyor belt strip or rope around the shell to work the attracted item towards one end of the drum for removal at the inspection port. Items such as washers are difficult to remove and consequently the magnetic element may need to be rotated for removal of the washer.Upon initial start-up, observe the rotating drum shell for signs of rubbing, scoring and listen for scraping sounds relative to the drum. Visual checks of the drum shell should be performed on a regular basis to prevent premature shell wear. Magnetic objects can be introduced to the separator in the feed slurry, from other nearby equipment or from maintenance work carried out above the separator.NOTE:If objects are allowed to remain attracted to the drum shell for prolonged periods, extensive shell wear and puncture can occur resulting in serious damage to the magnet element assembly.在启动设备之前：检查清除所有在槽体中的杂物，尤其是磁筒和槽体之间，确认没有铁质物件被吸附在转筒上，如螺母、螺钉、焊渣、焊条、工具等。最简便的清除方法是用一根像皮管穿过磁筒和槽体之间并从磁选机的一端移到另一端。请务必注意，铁质物件一旦落入转筒与槽体之间，清除难度很大。因此设备到达现场拆除包装后，安装调试直到正常运行期间，一定要采取措施防止杂物落入转筒与槽体之间。首次启动设备，应注意观察转筒筒皮上有无出现摩擦、划伤痕迹，听转筒有无异响。直观的检查筒皮并清除杂物可防止筒皮过早磨损。可取一些磁铁矿粉进行试操作。注意： 如果有杂物长期被吸附在转筒与槽体之间，将会使摩擦加剧导致筒皮破损进而引发磁系受损。WARNING警告MEDICAL PACEMAKER DEVICES & MAGNETIC FIELDSThe American Conference of Governmental and Industrial Hygienists Incorporated, have as of May 1993, updated their recommendations regarding static magnetic fields and persons wearing pacemakers or similar medical electronic devices. They recommend that people wearing such devices should not be exposed to static magnetic fields exceeding five (5) gauss.Our Drum Separator Magnet will not have a static magnetic field exceeding five (5) gauss at a minimum distance of three (3) metres from the magnet in any direction.As a precautionary measure, people wearing pacemakers or similar medical electronic devices should not be exposed to Permanent Magnets.医学起搏器和磁场美国政府间和工业卫生组织在1993年5月更新了关于静态磁场与人类佩带的医学起搏器或者类似的医用电子设施的建议。他们建议佩带这些医用起搏器的人群不应该出现在静态场强度超过5高斯的地方。我们的磁选机所产生的静态场强在3米范围以外，无论从那个方向测量其场强度都不超过5高斯。« 为了更安全的预防起见，佩带起搏器或类似医用电子设施的人群不应靠近永久磁铁。ERIEZ WET DRUM SEPARATORS 1. 引言INTRODUCTION:New improvements in magnetic material and technology have been applied to the Eriez Heavy Medium Wet Drum Magnetic Separators. New magnetic circuits have been designed to concentrate the separating force within the depth of the slurry and the magnetic element has a wider angle providing additional magnet area; improved tank design takes full advantage of the wide angle magnetic element, providing better separator efficiency.The Eriez/HMDA-6 Magnetic Separators are designed and ruggedly built for long, hard service; however, certain installation, operating and maintenance procedures must be observed. Care should be taken to follow the Eriez recommended procedures to be assured of the magnetic separators most efficient and dependable performance.A typical Eriez/HMDA-6 Wet Drum Separator is shown in Fig. 1.艺利公司重介质湿式磁选机性能的不断改进得益于我们的专利设计和磁性材料性能的不断提高。磁选机槽体的更新设计和六个宽角度磁极的应用极大地提高了重介质的回收率，尤其是对细颗粒重介质的回收。艺利公司磁选机的设计适用于长期、艰苦的工作环境，但即使这样，正确的安装、操作和维护程序也是必须要遵守的。磁选机的维护应严格按照我们所建议的程序来进行，才能确保磁选机的高回收率和高可靠性。图 1典型的艺利六磁极HMDA-6型湿式磁选机2. 概述GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Eriez/HMDA-6/7 High Efficiency Wet Drum Magnetic Separators are designed for use in heavy media circuits for the recovery of Magnetite or Ferrosilicon. The separators handle high concentrations of both magnetic and non-magnetic material in the feed and the recovered Magnetite or Ferrosilicon in discharged from the separator at higher than normal densities.The Eriez/HMDA-6/7 Magnetic Separators consist of an agitation type (alternating pole), wide angle magnetic element mounted on a stationary shaft and enclosed in a rotating stainless steel shell, or drum, secured to the drum heads. The shell and drum heads rotate on bearings around the fixed shaft and magnetic elements.The drum and magnet assembly is mounted on a tank (U.S. Patent No. 4921597) designed to take advantage of the wide angle magnet assembly. The design allows for the control of both submergence level and magnetic concentrates discharge. The drum, tank and drive assembly are supported by a rugged steel frame. Accordingly, great care must be taken not to damage the drum shell in any way.THE FOLLOWING FEATURES MUST BE OBSERVED:Do notApply slings to the drum shell to lift the drum separator. Lift only by lugs provided on the frame. If a drum is to be removed, slings should be attached to the shaft ends with a spreader bar, keeping the slings free of drum ends and shell.ProvideSupports for the shaft ends. Do not rest the drum on the shell surface.Do notAllow workmen to stand or rest heavy objects on the shell surface.Storage:Store the separators under cover.总体概论：转动的不锈钢外筒皮与固定的磁系间最大间隙为3毫米，因此需要特别注意不得以任何方式损伤外筒皮。以下事项必须要遵守不要用吊环直接套在磁筒上起吊磁选机。请用提供的吊耳或把吊环栓在轴两端上吊装。如果要吊装磁筒，请把吊环套在磁筒两端伸出的轴上，吊环要远离磁筒。支撑 当磁筒单独存放时要用轴承两端把磁筒支起来，不要让磁筒表面受力。不要让工作人员站（坐）在磁筒上面或在其上放重物。储藏 磁选机应储藏在遮蔽物下。FIG. 3 The lifting method of Eriez wet drums图 3 艺利磁选机的吊装方式图示3.2 安装前的检查PRE-COMMISSIONING CHECKS:A.Before operating revolve the drum shell by hand to check for possible distortion or damage.B.Make sure nothing has been allowed to become lodged between the drum shell and tank which could jam, or otherwise damage the drum shell.C.The tank and frame assembly should be checked across the width and length to make sure it is level. If not, shims should be placed between the frame and supporting foundations.D.The tailings discharge orifices are adjusted by inserting reducing bushes or by butterfly valves as required on site till approximately 25% of the tailings flow, flows over the full width overflow. It is important that feed to the separator remains constant. Either lowering water level or allowing too much overflow will result in excessive losses of magnetic or an insufficiently cleaned concentrate.E.Check oil level in the gear motor through oil level plug and ensure that the gear box breather plug, situated on top of gear box has been released.POWER REQUIREMENTS:F.The magnetic element is permanently magnetic and incorporates highly oriented Erium 25, (Ceramic IIIV Ferrite) magnet material. It requires no external power source.A.C. power requirements for the gear motor are 380 /660Volt, 3 Phase, 50 Hertz.G. Check the gear motor is correctly wired so that the drum rotates as indicated on drum at motor side.1. 在正式运行前，先用手动方式转动磁筒判断是否有受损或受阻现象。2. 确认磁筒的筒皮不应受内在或外在的摩擦。清理所有磁筒和料箱之间的杂物，否则它们有可能堵塞磁筒并使其受损。3. 在料箱和支架的整个宽度和长度方向检查是否水平。要用垫片等方法保证料箱和支架的水平。尾流和溢流的调节对磁选机的应用非常重要。溢流量应保持在大约是总尾矿量的25%50% 以上，并且沿整个筒宽方向都要有均匀溢流。调节可以通过左右移动放置在尾流槽内的两块调节板来增大或减小尾流槽的口径，或者通过尾流接料管道上安装阀门来调节。4. 保持给料的稳定也是很重要的。较低的液位或过多的溢流量都将导致损失磁介质或降低精矿品位。
