(to) do sth.例:He helps with the housework.He often helps me with the English.= He often helps me (to) learn English.拓:还可作名词,意为“帮助”,不可数名词。例:This old man needs some help.(2) 辨析problem与questionproblem指客观存在的,等待解决的问题,着重指困难的问题或有关运算的问题,常与solve,work out搭配question指人们主观上提出的等待回答的问题,常与ask,answer搭配例:She cant solve the problem. (2)表即将发生或肯定要发生的事。例: I think it is going to snow.辨析be going to与will/shall(1) 表客观上将要发生,与主观愿望和判断无关的,或不带有意愿色彩的将来,用“will”。例: It will be Sunday tomorrow.(2) 表计划、打算做某事或根据目前情况推测某事可能发生时,常用“be going to”。例: The twin brothers are going to fly model planes this afternoon.练习1、 用所给单词的适当形式填空。1. Our motherland _ (be) sixty-eight years old next year.2. Some doctors in this hospital _ (visit) Taiwan next month.3.
