Hello everyone。Im Bai Guiqin from department of obstetrics and gynaecology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Xian Jiaotong University.Today I will make a lecture that prevention and treatment of COVID-19 infection during pregnancy and puerperium.One:pregnancy and COVID-19 pneumonia 1:Effects of COVID-19 pneumonia on pregnancy Infective fever in early pregnancy:It could cause structural deformities on the fetal neural tube,heart,kidney,and other organs.Infective fever during second trimester:It could lead to a 2-fold increase in the incidence of autism in infants.COVID-19 is a newly discovered virus.So it is worth further exploration on what short-term and long-term effects the infective fever could have on infants.Two:Effect of pregnancy on COVID-19 pneumonia Maternal population are susceptible to COVID-19,and they are more likely to have complication and even develop to severe cases.For example:in Qichun county,Huanggang,Hubei province,a Weng-surnamed pregnant woman died 12 days later after being infected with COVID-19.2:self-monitoring plus reasonable medical consultation(Both are indispensable)One:self-monitoring one:weight control In principle,the weight gain shouldnt exceed one catty per week after the second trimester.Keep only 80%full,and more importantly control the intake of carbohydrates,and it is recommended to walk around at home.Two:measure blood pressure,temperature and blood glucose.Measure blood pressure twice a day and make a record.Take your temperature regularly.For diabetes and gestational diabetes,regular blood glucose monitoring can also do at home.So once above normal,so you should consult a doctor.Three:count fetal movement Of all the self-monitoring programs,counting fetal movement is the simplest,most efficient and effective way to monitor intrauterine fetal conditions.Fetal movement is reduced under intrauterine hypoxia.Counting fetal movement can help identify fetuses with intrauterine hypoxia.The fetal movement is not less than six times within two hours.Otherwise fetal movements we considered reduced.Two:reasonable medical consultation Seek medical attention if you have any symptoms of discomfort,such as nausy,headache,fetal movement reducing.At present no effective preventive medicines have been identified,so dont use drugs indiscriminately.Three:can gravida do X-ray and CT?The principle of X-ray and CT examination is basically the same,and their effects on the fetus are related to the gestational week and the radiation dose at the time of examination.At early embryonic development,high dose exposure above one Gy is fatal to the embryo.Radiation doses received at 8-15 weeks of pregnancy have the greatest impact on the fetus central nervous system.According to the data from the American Radiological Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists:when gravida undergo a single chest X-ray examination,the fetal exposure dose is you look 0.0005 to 0.01 mGy.In the chest radiation dose is 0.01 to 0.66 mGy.So we suggest:for gravida with suspected COVID-19 infection or acute infection,a chest examination may be performed using CT or X-rays.Dont hesitate It is recommended that gravida sign informed consent and takes necessary abdominal protection measures before undergoing a chest CT examination.Four:newborns of gravida with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection:be isolated for 14 days after birth;and closely observed the clinical manifestations of COVID-19 infection.The mother is separated from the newborn.Okay,thank you.
