situation:文化背景的话题很多话题在中西方交往中,被认为是不合适的话题,包括张家长、李家短的闲言碎语,或者问询对方年龄、收入、体重(没错,无论对方多么肥胖,也没有向你我报告体重的义务!)、宗教信仰等话题,被绝大多数西方人士视为个人隐私,交流中一般不易涉及,除非对方主动谈论。除了避免不适当的话题外,我们还应该多向对方正面介绍自己和自己的组织,例如,已取得的业绩和优势等。长时间地沉默不语,北美的很多人士甚至会误以为,是因为我们对于和他们交流感到枯燥乏味。所以初次见面,既要避免不适当的话题,同时,又要主动地谈论积极的话题,向对方介绍自己的强项。你不但需要礼貌地关照对方,也需要关照自己,这样才能给方留下积极的第一印象,便于日后的进一步交往。SoWhenwe
