a薛秋碧 新目标英语七年级下册unit9:what does he look like? 教学案例教学内容新目标英语七年级unit9(the first period section A 1a-sectionA 1c)教材简析本单元的核心话题是谈论人的外表形象,通过本单元的学习,学生能掌握本单元出现的表示人的身高、体形、发型、面部特征及着装特点的词组及句型。以人的外貌特征为主线,兼顾交际功能的学习,以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序,引导学生学会用英语介绍自己或他人的外表特征。本单元的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中,学生能通过交换对不同人物的描述及看法,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进情谊。学情分析 七年级的学生,由于年龄小,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。由于七年级学生刚学习句型,有的学生可能说的不好,有的还不敢说,老师针对学生现状,在课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主,注重培养学习英语的兴趣,营造英语氛围,鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会,让他们尝试成功的喜悦。 同时,七年级的学生还存在着学习方法和学习策略经验不足等问题,但他们却有着极强的求知欲强和表现欲。根据学生的心理特点我在课上多以表扬为主,注重对学生英语学习兴趣的培养,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱!让学生们在玩玩、做做、说说、 唱唱中学习英语。教学目标 1知识目标:能掌握以下单词: curly, straight, tall, medium, thin, heavy, build, tonight, little, cinema, glasses, later 能掌握以下句型: What does he look like? Hes of medium/build. What does he look like? She has long straight hair.Is he tall or short?2能力目标1.能熟练的用英语进行对人外表特点的描述,并根据描述画出人像。 2.能概括人物的外貌特征并根据人物特征推理出某一人物。 3.能替自己和别人进行新形象设计,能和合作伙伴互相交流,充分交换信息。 4.能掌握本单元出现的表示人外观的词组及句型,并能结合实际生活进行灵活运用这些词组及句型描述别人的外表,提高写作水平。3情感目标:1.通过描述同学、教师或自己的偶像的外貌,简单地表达自己的观点或好恶,学会交换不同的看法,使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人。 2.教育学生要多发现别人的优点,学会赞美别人,友好地描述别人的形象。 3.学会赏识,懂得心灵美比外表美更重要。 4.能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务, 尽情享受学习的乐趣。 教学步骤Step 1: Warming-upT:Boys and girls,lets play a guessing game. Ihave a good student in your class.He is short. Do you what does he look like? Tell me tell you .He is thin . He often wears white shirt. He studies very hard.Can you guess who he is ?S1:He isT:No, it isnt.S2: He isS3: He is (用相同的方式让学生再猜一个人物)(设计说明:通过游戏引起学生的学习兴趣,了解人物的外貌特征,然后用这两名学生为为教heavy ,tall, thin, short及两个句型: 1.what do you look like? 2.What does Tom/he look like? 作铺垫) Step 2:Presentation of new lesson Task 1: Teach the new words and new sentences pattern. T:(指着刚才被猜中的学生提问) Look at him.What does he look like? S1:He is short. S2: He is S3: He is (设计思路:先利用刚才被猜中的学生的外貌进行教学新单词和句型。这样更形象,更贴近生活,学生更容易接受,加强了学生间的合作与交流。) Step 3: Practice the new wordsHave the students match the words with the pictures in 1aCheck the answers.(设计思路:操练新单词,加深记忆。)Step 4: ListeningHave the students listen to 1b and fill in the blanks.Play it againCheck the answers.(设计思路:让学生边听边做,由听到做,层层深入,这样既能降低听力内容的难度,又能使学生的听力得到很好的训练。同时通过做听力练习,可以帮助他们巩固所学的单词和句型,为下面的对话打下良好的语言基础) Step 5: Practice the conversationShow the students some cartoon pictures. Have the students make conversation in pairs according to the pictures.Ask some pairs to act out the conversation in front of the classmates (设计说明:动画片是学生西喜欢谈论的话题,每个学生心目中都有他们喜欢的卡通形象。通过谈论这些卡通形象,既能提高学生学习英语的兴趣,又能将所学的话题与生活相结合,在真实语境中进行对话练习)Step 5: Summary and Play a memory game. T: (Let the students summary the words about height, build, hair.) Ss: (Read together and give the opposite words. Then have a competition by saying the sentences as quickly as possible when they see the pictures.) (设计思路:通过学生的总结将知识点总结成系统,再由游戏强化刚学过的句型及词汇,让学生在活动中把学习的知识掌握好。) Step 6: Work out the exercises 1a2b Point out the different usages between be and have/has (设计思路:在学生掌握好的前面的知识的基础上再处理学习书上的知识,就化难为简,学生才能得心应手,同时让学生整体回顾本节课的重点内容。让学生通过对比思考找出have/has 和be 动词后所接的词汇的不同,再经过老师的归纳、总结,使之成为规律性的知识,便于记忆! ) Step 6: Group work: Describe and draw. T: Look! Its a photo of me ten years ago. I was short and a little bit heavy. I have a new look now. Do you like my new look? Lets design a new look for your teacher! Ss: ( Work in groups, choose one teacher they like and draw a picture of their teachers new look , then show it in class and describe it.) She is a pop singer .Shes short and heavy .Who is she? Draw it please. T: Yes, she is Han Hong. Is she beautiful? No. She is not beautiful but lots of people like her and like her songs .She can give people joy .She can bring people laughter. We mustnt judge people by appearance and we should learn from her .OK, todays homework .Describe your family or your favorite person from their heights, builds and hair.教学反思我从游戏引入,一下子调动起了课堂气氛,把学生引到轻松的学英语的情境中,让学生体会到学英语的乐趣。 课上我运用了新颖得教学方法,通过胖瘦高低学生的表演,让长发、短发、卷发、直发教具以及丰富多彩的图片深深吸引学生得注意力,让学生自己感到学习英语得魅力,激发学生得兴趣。课堂表现令人满意。师生互动,生生互动,小组互动的效果出奇精彩。特别是个别同学想描述一个戴眼镜得同学时,不知道该选用is还是has。此时抓住时机迅速补充并新授wear glasses 课后反映效果特别好,对这种学生自己提出得问题,学生印象特别深刻,记忆特别牢固。学生得主导性非常强,回答踊跃,思路新颖,在回答问题得过程中,学生能基本掌握要点,而又不失灵活与个体得发挥。 4.
