*Call for Applications*FRENCH-GERMAN-TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOLMigration in Museums: (Inter)Cultural Educationin Diverse SocietiesSeptember/November 2021September 5-14: CologneSeptember 15-22: ParisSecond half of November: Istanbul (one week)Content and Target GroupsThe Network Migration in Europe (), in cooperation with partners from Cologne/Köln (University of Cologne, Museum Service of the City of Cologne), France (Génériques, German Historical Institute Paris, University of Toulouse, Musée des civilisations de lEurope et de la Méditerranée) and Turkey (Bosporus University, History Foundation), is organizing a French-German-Turkish summer school on the interrelation of migration, cultural diversity and museums. The summer school is open to advanced students (including Ph.D. candidates) from the humanities and the social sciences (museum studies, history, sociology, cultural anthropology, political science, migration studies, education, art history, architecture, etc.). Applicants need to be registered at a French, German or Turkish university. A total of 15 students will be admitted to attend the summer school in Cologne, Paris and Istanbul. The program will be organized around seminars, lectures, site visits and visits of ca. 15 museums in the three cities involved. Field research in small tri-national teams will be included in the program. Participants expenses will be (partly) reimbursed. (Grants for transport and accommodation are available.)Application ProcedureApplications need to be turned in by May 23, 2021.
