that it does not depend on an intermediate material as a carrier of energy but rather is impeded by the presence of material between the regions.The rate of thermal radiant energy emitted by a surface depends on its absolute temperature.A surface is called black if it can absorb all incident radiation.The total energy emitted per unit time per unit area of black surface Wb to the hemispherical
