technologies:the advanced logistics technologies and equipments will be used for playing the demonstrative roles for promotion of the logistics modernization level for Chongqing and the western region.The automatic logistics system and the consolidation unitization technology will be used in this project to improve the logistics rationalization level in a higher degree.Demonstration of multi-type combined transportation:the distribution platforms and logistics cloud platforms will be built in those main logistics hubs such as Chongqing west modern logistics part for performance of this project;therefore,the seamless joint of the highway and railway transportation modes may be realized to lead the development of the multi-type combined transportation in the logistics central employment:the project will play the positive demonstrative roles for driving the modern logistics talents need and adjusting the talents need structure;the direct need of high-end talents in the information and logistics management will be up to about 3,000 persons;and the number of direct and indirect employment boost will be up to nearly 10,000 during the operation 语语 Conclusions Chongqing is located between the middle and western parts of China and it is one of the 5 major central cities defined by the Chinese government;it is the unique comprehensive land,water and air transportation hub in the western region of China;it takes advantages of Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe International Railway,the golden waterway of Yangtze River,networks and railway networks;thus,its conditions for the development of modern logistics industry is richly endowed by nature.The implementation of this project is to improve the regional logistics informatization and intelligentization level and promote the freight distribution capability of Chongqing to its surrounding regions;the urban functional structure will be improved and the green and intelligent logistics will be explored and put into operation;and the rapid development of the modern logistics for the western region will be driven based on summary and demonstration.
