IQ can be compared to the hardware of our brain: how fast we process information and how well we can store it. EQ is more similar to the software of our minds: what we do with the information to come to a decision. Emotional Intelligence (or EQ), which can broadly be defined as the role emotions play in determining our perception of the world and how this perception affects our conclusions. That involves something of a sixth sense a high performance of the mind. In a literal sense our brains process information in habitual ways that differ from person to person. Every one' s level of maturity, self-awareness and experiences are different; therefore, we all see the same problem differently.
