ABSTRACTSince the implementation of opening-up police and reform, people's living standards generally improve in the period of economy growing rapidly. Meanwhile, income distribution gap is also growing. Through analyzing the relationship between economic growth and income distribution, achieving rapid economic growth and reasonable income distribution has become a major goal in economic theory and practice As Yichang for example, in the whole process of economy growing, there are differences among different income levels, different industries and so on. Based on the theory of economic growth as the starting point it shortens the income gap in Yichang as end. First, recalled the theory of the relations the representative's theory about economic growth and income distribution, this laid the following for the Yichang the economic growth and income distribution analysis of the theoretical foundation, Secondly, analysis the data of Yichang in a certain period by a comparative analysis, statistical analysis, empirical analysis methods.
