基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神,使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合运用语言的能力。本课系外研版八年级下册第八模块的第二单元。本模块的话题是“公众假期”,在这一主题下,引出一系列国际和中国传统的节日,由此导出一系列知识点和活动。这一话题不紧在内容上贴近生活,有很大的讨论空间,是学生们都喜闻乐见的话题,而且在知识点的安排上也便于教师讲授及学生掌握。第二单元的主题是:“As soon as its 12 oclock.,主要以第二部分的短文为核心内容,展开对新单词、短语、句型和语法的学习。本课主要通过对文章的阅读来了解人们如何庆祝新年,并巩固由as soon as,before,while以及when引导的时间状语从句。在认识、理解和掌握这些知识点的基础上,辅以阅读和写作练习,让学生通过学习、练习,能学有所用,学有所得。分析学生对于八年级的学生来说,他们具有一定的思维能力,而且想象力特别丰富,所以在课堂中,我采用视频、歌曲等手段引入主题,同时辅以图片,简单直观,学生乐于接受。从孩子身上找切入点,能激发他们的兴趣,提高学习积极性,所以我在设计教案时充分抓住了这一特点。教学目标(一)知识与能力目标
