While listening always exert certain influence on students' oral ability, it is a very important aspect of verbal communication. English Listening thus can provide real scenes for students, interpretation, which is of great importance to the improvement of their communicative ability.With systematic drilling of specialized skills, the objective of this course is to cultivate students in abilities such as quick response, accurate differentiation, analytical deduction, summarizing, information processing, note-taking, and memorizing, etc. On the basis of a general qualification for listening exams, students are expected to accurately acquire the information given by speakers, so as to promote a smooth communication between them.
