Book 2 Unit 4 Stage and screen(Understanding ideas)课题Unit 4 Stage and screen (Period 3)课型新授课(阅读课)教学目标一、 学习能力目标:1. 学生能够自主略读精读读懂文章,概括文章主旨大意,获取细节信息。二、 思维品质目标:1. 学生能够自发地思考京剧的艺术魅力。三、 文化意识目标:1. 基于文本理解,学生能够体会京剧的艺术魅力,增强对中国传统文化的认同感和民族自豪感。教学重点1. 学生能够自主略读课文内容,在文中快速找到相关信息;2. 引导学生通过自主阅读和小组合作等形式整合文章信息。教学难点引导学生阅读文本,准确获取文章信息,提高对不同文化的认识。主要教法任务型教学法教学过程1. Pre-reading: (1) Watch a video clip to appreciate Hamlet in Chinese version. (Teaching aims: It allows students to catch a glimpse of Beijing Opera and try to feel the charm behind that.)2. While-reading:(1) The teacher asks the students to read the passage quickly and choose the authors purpose in writing the passage. (Teaching aims: Help students get a brief understanding of the general idea and the writer s purpose.)(2) The teacher asks students to read the passage carefully and answer these questions: What is the timeline of the passage? What are the feelings and emotions of the retelling?(Teaching aims: Lead students to find some detailed information in the text.)(3) The teacher asks students to read the passage again and complete the chart in. (Teaching aims: Students can figure out the structure of the text.)(4) The teacher plays a video introducing Beijing Opera, and ask students to have a discussion about it. (Teaching aims: Stimulate students interest and enthusiasm in Beijing Opera, even Chinese traditional culture.)(5) The teacher shows students a framework and presents some important words, phrases and language points. (Teaching aim: Help students to review some key points and take some notes to enrich their knowledge background.)3. Post-reading:(1) Students summarize the key element of a play. (2) The teacher asks students to think about the question: What is your understanding of the last paragraph of the passage? What attracts you most in Beijing Opera? (Teaching aims: Students can have a group discussion and cultivate their critical thinking ability.)4.
