They wish to know what other people were doing at that time. Listening and speaking are the core part of language, and the usage of past progressive tense is the key point of learning this book. This period is sure to be a step to learn successfully.2. Teaching objectivesAt the end of the lesson , students can:1) talk about past events and tell a story that happened in the past2) the usage of past progressive tense.This period is mainly about listening and speaking of the unit. I just wish everyone can take part in speaking ,listening, reading and writing. 3.Emotional ObjectivesGet students know that even though we are having a difficult time learning and living right now, we are sure to overcome the problem. We can be positive to do everything.4. Analysis of studentsFor students in Grade 7 , they have mastered some knowledge both in vocabulary and the Simple Present Tense, itll be helpful for them to achieve the learning goals.Teaching key points and difficult points:1.Students can use and grasp the new words and expressions in this period.2.Students can communicate using the patterns: “What weredoing at the time of/when?
