They splinted my leg and called Portland Mountain Rescue. They took about two hours to get to where I was. Mel waited beside me while I tried not to scream from the pain. In May 2020,1 climbed Mount Crickmer, in the Fraser Valley. It was only about 20 kilometres, and a gentle elevation, but it felt amazing to be out there again.
