    T h ero b lem sin C h in a教育存在的问题Newly compiled on November 23,2020The problems in Chinas educationThe education system in China has been brought intofocus over years.As we all know,the sustainabledevelopment of China depends on the advanced education.Today,Id like to share some of my views about the currenteducational system of China.So what on earth the education system of chinaIn China,the education is divided into three categories:basic education,higher education,and adult education.TheCompulsory Education Law of stipulates that each child havenine years of formal education.Basic education in China includes pre-school education,primary education and regular secondary education at theundergraduate level includes two-and three-year juniorcolleges(sometimes also called short-cycle colleges,four-year colleges,and universities offering programs in bothacademic and vocational subjects.Many colleges anduniversities also offer graduate programs leading to themasters or.adult education category overlaps all threeof the above categories.However,education in china is facing a great challenge.Compared with thewest advanced education system,theproblem of Chinese education is obvious.First of all,our education concept focus on theresult but not the procedure of learning;We all study forscores from primary school to college.China adopts thetest-oriented education system which exerts its emphasis onscores,and makes out different levels based on marks asyardstick for individual student.Students have oneexamination after another in their school life.Nonetheless,high scores dont mean good ability,while capablestudents are capable in their own ways.Burying inexaminations,students may have rich theories but poorpractices,blocking them to survival from society aftergraduation.Meanwhile,imagination and creation are moreand more away from students.Secondly,under our education,students should obeywhat the education department,schools,teachers and eventextbooks tell them,which is authoritative.The educationdepartment has created an education standard and educationmode that they can easily control it.And schools makeregulations to restrict students.besides,teachers usuallystand in front of teachers desks giving a lesson todozens of students who just keep taking notes and seldom dothey raise any question during a class.A foreigner studenthas said in China a students role is to listen and watch.Finaly,diploma is the only measurement of our ability;we cant obtain a good job without a rich-enough diploma,say nothing of promotion.Whats more,in order to enter ahigher grade is the aim of education,students,as well asparents and schools have paid much attention to high school,and ignored the technical schools and Normal schools.Andthis has made lots of graduates from many colleges anduniversities in a dilemma that they find no jobs while aqualified Senior technician is hard to find.Some say that the education system has to be reformedimmediately,otherwise,the purpose of sustainabledevelopment of China is just a fantasy.I cannot agree withit more.And in my own opinions,we should reform theeducation system in three parts.First,pay attention to the education country shouldrefresh the view of the traditional values of humanresources,we should abandon the thought of score being themost important.The school should focus on the procedure ofstudy and try to improve the integrated ability of students.Second,improve the capability of the teachers.A goodteacher should treat the students kindly and give themadvices in various fields for a teacher is due to not onlyenhance the imagination and creativity of the students,butalso tell them the right way of living and treating theworld.Third,Of course,there is a rather long way to go to improveeducation in China.Also,there are many other problems tobe solved.However,if the government pay much attention toit and manage to solve it,I believe education has a brightfuture.
