in the process of intercultural communication,which is the embodiment of cross-cultural awareness in communication.With the development of Chinas economy and the deepening of economic globalization,cross-cultural talents are playing an increasingly important role in promoting Chinas trade with other countries.Under this context,the way to enhance students intercultural communication skills has become a new challenge in business English teaching.This paper studies the intercultural communication competence of business English students.Firstly,it starts with the overview of intercultural communication competence cultivation,and introduces the definition,classification and research status of intercultural communication competence cultivation.Secondly,taking business English major students as the research object,this paper investigates the current situation of cross-cultural communication ability of business English major students,and analyzes the problems with high error rate.In the end,the paper proposes some ways to improve students intercultural communication skills.This paper is divided into five chapters from the structure:The first chapter is the research background and value.This research is helpful for business English major students to cultivate better cross-cultural awareness,improve cross-cultural communication ability,so as to meet the needs of foreign-funded enterprises in terms of talent.Secondly,the main content of the paper is introduced.Finally,the expected results of this study are presented.The second chapter is the introduction of cross-cultural communication training.Firstly,the definition and classification of intercultural communication training are summarized.Secondly,it reviews the current research situation of cross-cultural communication training.)2 The third chapter is the cultivation analysis of cross-cultural communication of business English students.Firstly,intercultural knowledge is introduced.Secondly,through the way of questionnaire survey about the status quo of business English students to intercultural communication,the investigation content includes cultural knowledge and vocabulary of English-speaking countries,researched verbal acts and nonverbal acts,social value and norms of social behaviors,etc.Finally,the problem of high error rate is analyzed.The reasons for the high error rate of these problems are mainly due to the lack of practice in business English teaching mode in China,which limits students cross-cultural thinking.In addition,business English teaching ignores the comparison between Chinese and western differences,resulting in students insufficient attention to this part of content.The fourth chapter is Methods of Improving Intercultural international economic activities,people have already noticed the importance of business English.Therefore,colleges and universities need to strengthen business English teaching so that students of business English can continuously improve their diplomatic skills,In language teaching.In specific teaching,some new contents can be added,such as business English,to help English teachers improve and enhance their teaching quality and teaching level.College students can better accumulate business English related learning experience,so as to cultivate better cross-cultural awareness and enhance their cross-cultural communication skills.The demand for talents from foreign-related enterprises.1 1.2 Brief Introduction of the Thesis In the increasingly fierce international economic competition,Chinas foreign economic development requires a large number of talents with business and English knowledge and cross-cultural communication skills,which is a big challenge for business English teaching.In this paper,cross-cultural communication competence is deeply studied and analyzed,and its profound influence on business English teaching is pointed out,in order to find out the politics,economy,culture and social development between domestic and foreign countries.In general,all concepts associated with individualism,such as freedom and equality,occupy an important position in the hearts of Westerners and we value collectivism.Different speech behaviors show different characteristics,and the study of different speech acts is in progress.This theory first appeared in Britain,was proposed by the philosopher Austin.Since then,this theory of differential speech act has been widely used and regarded as an important aspect of linguistic theory.Linguistics believes that people use language to communicate in order to achieve a particular communicative intention(such as statements,inquiries,orders,invitations,warnings,sentencing,apologies,congratulations,gratitude,admiration,etc.)which is actually completing an act.This behavior is called speech act.Speech acts have distinct social and cultural characteristics.6 As a common phenomenon in linguistics,speech acts exist in all languages.Speech acts are subject to specific social conditions.The difference in speech performance is mostly due to differences in social conditions.The social conditions faced by individuals are different,so there are obvious differences and diversities in speech and behavior,which is
