Unit Two Changes in Life Lesson 2 Life in the Future(第1课时)Objectives To talk about changes in life To talk about future life To use the passive voice Tasks To talk about changes in teaching facilities,teaching methods and teaching quality To talk about robots,diseases,cloning and weather to express and respond to offers 教材分析:新世纪版英语九年级下册 第二单元的话题是changes in life,第二课的内容是life in the future,通过科学家对于50年后未来生活的预测,畅想50年后我们的生活会是怎样的。通过回忆过去,看现在,然后到将来生活的设想这个话题,复习被动语态的用法,帮助学生树立正确的意识,珍惜现在的美好生活,为了让未来的生活更加美好,我们要不断努力地去探索各个领域的知识。教学目标:1.知识与技能 分享科学家们对于50年后未来生活的畅想,能够用自己的话谈谈对未来生活的设想。掌握被动语态在不同时态里的用法。2.过程与方法 通过小组讨论,展开对未来生活的畅想,结合科学家的预测,感知生活日新月异的变化,通过听说读写四方面来学习了解这个话题。3.情感态度与价值观 通过对于本课内容的学习,帮助学生树立正确的人生观和价值观,我们是生活的主人,不但要珍惜现在的美好生活,还要 努力学习知识,将来为社会做贡献,让生活更加美好。教学重点:谈论生活的变化 复习被动语态的用法 教学难点:畅想未来的生活教学方法 小组讨论,展开对于未来生活的畅想,导入新的教学内容,然后和科学家的预测进行比较,理解这一话题的深层含义。课程类型:新授课 教学过程:Step 1 Presentation The student who is on duty today can have a talk about our life in the future.Write down the topic:life in the future Students have a discussion about the pictures in the textbook in groups.Some questions can be presented to the students like:What may replace workers and doctors 50 years from now?2.Was Dolly an ordinary sheep or was it cloned?Will scientists be able to control genes and clone more animals in 50 years?3.What maybe the weather like in the future?4.What other changes do you think will probably take place in our lives Step 2 Reading The teacher can help make a conclusion about the above,then give them enough time to read the text on Page 57.Some questions can be showed:Which ones do you think are good changes?Which ones are bad?What do you think we should do to make sure that only the good things happen?Finish the comprehension check by themselves after listening to the tape with books closed.Step 3 Grammar Revision of the passive voice.Find out how different the passive voice in these sentences by themselves after reading the sentences.Help students make a conclusion about the passive voice like this:一般现在时态:is/am/are done 一般将来时态:will be done 一般过去时态:was/were done 现在完成时态:has/have been done 含有情态动词的被动语态:情态动词+be done Step 4 Practise First,translate the sentences here on P60,then finish the exercise on P61.Step 5 Homework Make six sentences by using the passive voice.Read the text and remember the key words and phrases here.The arrangement on the blackboard Unit 2 Changes in Life Lesson 2 Life in the Future Key words Grammar be short of 一般现在时 is/am/are done global warming 一般过去时 was/were done A conclusion about teaching 把主动权留给学生,充分利用其自学能力,从听说读写入手,有效巩固自己的学习方法。
