1 Unit 3 Lesson 2 A Geography Lesson(第一课时)一、学习目标:帮助学生树立面对自然灾害的意识;了解自然灾害的状况以及想出应对方法;帮助学生进行听力,阅读与写作练习.(一)基础目标:掌握 vocabulary 中的单词:深入理解课文内容,了解地震对人们造成的毁坏以及如何应对。掌握课文内容,完成问题 (二)发展目标:1 让防灾减灾的观念深入每个同学心中,并用到实际生活中。2能用学过知识与所给的语言内容整合,拓展学生的语言量,让学生进行小组活动.3.对于处在灾难当中的人们,我们要勇于帮助,贡献自己的一份力量。(三)能力目标:能运用所学知识表达自己地震灾害的看法;培养学生的阅读能力;情感、策略和文化等有关目标:1.情感态度:培养同学们的同情心,珍惜幸福的生活;2.学习策略:在开展小组活动,编排对话的时候要善于学习 别的同学好的方法。3.文化目标:培养同学们勇于面对困难的不服输的精神;二、教学重点:1.本科的重点单词 要让学生深入的理解课文,充分认识到地震的破坏性,以及如何应对。被动语态的运用 教学难点:能用学过知识与所给的语言内容整合,拓展学生的语言量,让学生进行小组 活动.三、教学资源:Students book page Students book 9 上 unit3 Lesson two Words and picture cards lesson2Unit 3 Teaching Transparencies lesson2Unit 3 四、课前准备:录音机,学生分组,ppt 课件 五、教学时间:1 课时(每课时 3540 分钟)1.Pre-task Preparation (1)Leading-in Ask the students some questions about the earthquake.Do you see an earthquake?Is it terrible?What was the people and the house like in an earthquake?Who can tell us what we can do with earthquake?Students can discuss the questions 2 Show them the new words.homeless the Red Cross period whole predict at present(2)Methods:The students say the words after the teacher;Teacher writes the words on the blackboard;(3)Purpose 让学生边把所学的单词读熟记准,以便为后面的学习打下基础。用常见的问题引入课题,容易引起学生的兴趣。2.(1)Show a picture of an earthquake.Students can answer some questions.They can discuss together.(2)Show the text.Ask the students some questions.1.Do you know Tangshan earthquake?2 How many people died in the earthquake?3.If you are in an earthquake,what things youll like mostly?4.Can we predict an earthquake?(3)Students read the text carefully,and explain the text.when the students read ,teacher can go around to answer the students questions.After they finish reading,teacher can ask a student to read the text.one by one.Teacher and students read the Lesson Notes together.lf the students dont understand the text,the teacher should explain in time.And teacher can let students find the important sentences in the text.(4)According to the text,complete blanks.When the students do it,the teacher can give some help.Answers:were destroyed were killed home homeless Red Cross predict Methods:Teacher can explain the notes.Students can discuss together Purpose:学生带着问题读课文会更集中注意力,也有助于他们理解课文内容。老师读课文重点句子的讲解更会加深他们的印象,为后面的填空打下基础。3(1)Discovering Language The passive voice(in the simple past tense)This part is difficult,teacher can explain carefully,and give more examples.(2)Answers:1.was downloaded Tom 2 were washed away the flood 3.was sent to the village 板书设计 Unit 3 A Geography Lesson 1 homeless the Red Cross period whole predict at present 2.The whole town was destroyed.3.Not at present.4 They donate money,food,clothes and water to the victims through the Red Cross.
