Module 3 The Violence of Nature 教学设计一.教材分析高中英语（外研版）必修三Module 3的教学内容是学习有关各种自然灾害的特征及其给人类 带来的危害。本节课是该模块的第二课时，即Reading and Vocabulary的教学，主要介绍Tornado （龙卷风）和Hurricane （飓风）等自然灾害的威力。二.学情分析所教学生英语基础薄弱，阅读能力较差。所以本节课在教授重点词汇、句型的同时侧重阅读能 力的培养和阅读技巧的提高。三.教学目标教学目标1 .知识与技能目标:Students will use some important words,phrases and sentences about the violence of nature and improve the skills of scanning and skimming.2 .过程与方法目标:Students will be active by answering questions and group work3 .情感目标:Students will learn some kinds of natural disasters and develop confidence and determination to fight against disasters of nature.教学重点1. Understand the important phrases and sentences.2.
