Himeji for a day, same for Osaka (some peers think it's miserable?), Kyoto and Nara and maybe Hakone.I have a rail pass and was wondering if that itinerary is sufficient so as to give me a taste of the country, and if I am wasting my lime on Osaka. I know I will be cutting myself short in Tokyo but I am easy about that as I live in a city and prefer to go to places with a slower pace. Thanks for the help!jon1b (5 days ago): Given the length of your stay I'd say skipping Osaka is a good call. I would even sayspending another day in Tokyo would be more interesting, as Osaka is a city in ways similar to it, but also has fewer sights to see. When I was there, I didn't like it all that much but my friend found it (and the food) more to his liking (han Tokyo.nathaliel (2 days ago): Skip Osaka, particularly if what you want is a “slower pace”. Also, Himeji has just one big sight to see the White Swan castle, and that can easily be done as a daytime stopover without staying a night, giving you one more night somewhere else.soniaberode (8 days ago): Sorry, I don,t want to sound mean, but in iny opinion, you have done everything wrong. You certainly don't need a JR Pass fbr the itinerary you are looking at. You are not including any place (with the exception of Miyajima) which has anything that even comes close to have a “slower pace”. And you are including way too much into your 8 days in Japan. If you keep that kind of itinerary, you will be spending a lot of time travelling from one place to the other, instead of being able to enjoy your short time in Japan.Get real, do some research, and choose 2-3 destinations max. For me Osaka, Hakone and Himeji are definitely not part of those 2-3 destinations.25. For this eight-day trip, it is suggested to give up Osaka because.A. the food there is not so deliciousit is not a typical slow-paced cityB. it is different from such cites as Tokyoit has just one must-see sight26. According to the passage, it can be implied that.A. given the length of the travel, the poster can complete his itinerary as plannedHimeji is so big that it is definitely worth a one-day-long visitB. it would be impossible to enjoy a “slow pace travel with the man's original plana JR pass is a must if you want to travel though Japan27. You are most likely to read this article in.A. an online travel forumB. a travel magazineC. a tourist handbookD. a Japan travel log(2022秋上海【箔三上海市复兴高级中学校考一模)Colleague Council Meeting 3rd Oct 20Chairperson: Jane SimmonsMinutes Secretary: Liz BatemanWelcomeJane Simmons welcomed all colleagues to the meeting.
